The location is great, a Place on the Lake is absolutely perfect for accomodating two or 10 and two hot tubs to use for free as well.

In a great location, the prices were extremely reasonable and the staff were very nice.

First, we were given a room with no heat.

When I volunteered that we drank one of the $3 bottles of water in the room, she pounced, "did you drink the other one.

The room was $100/night (including the $3 water).

The huge pool was practically bathtub temperature.

When I asked her where we could eat breakfast, she was hostile and said "this is a small town, nothing is open on a Sunday" A short drive into the main part of town proved her completely wrong - almost every restaurant was open.

Both the restaurant and lounge were closed for our entire stay.

She even came in on her day off to oversee our Sunday breakfast and departure.

The restaurant is under renovation, so I cannot comment on that.

We made the mistake of ordering food from the restaurant.

I made my reservation based upon incorrect representations made to me by the hotel front desk staff.

We booked over the phone last fall and when we arrived the place was so dingy and the front desk staff was so rude, we canceled our reservation and went up the street.

I was given misinformation by the hotel staff when I called to inquire about in room internet service.

The front desk staff was very rude and refused to cancel my room.

She worked with my staff to make sure all of their needs were addressed.

The pool looked like was well maintained.

The lobby looked good and must have been recently renovated.

The rooms were quite spacious, clean and modern with nice amenities.

The room was clean and had plenty of space.

The sheets were clean and the huge pool was practically bathtub temperature.

The custodial staff did an excellent job of keeping the rooms clean.
