Value at a nice location, the hotel was just near the highway so made great for a one night stop and the rooms were very comfortable and clean.
Convenient and quiet location, clean and decent hotel, for the price was reasonable.
It's not in comparison to higher price hotels.
I've been in hotels/motels that I can't stand to touch the floor in and everything just seems grimy - I was half expecting this type of experience for the price.
The good: The price, the location, the quiet, single story, etc.
I loved the location, all in all good budget standard and excellent price.
The location is also ideal and close to everything Monterey has to offer.
Fairly quiet location, all in all a great value and i thought was a very good buy for the money.
Shower stall clogged - we'll see what type of foot parasites I develop.
We stayed in a two room suite with one bathroom, the room itself wasnt bad except the bed seemed very old and each one of us woke up with a back ache.
The room was small, the walls were thin, the bed was uncomfortable.
Good location, the exterior of the hotel was so nice and the bed was clean and comfortable.
Price was $55/night + tax for 2 people in a king bed.
I couldn't sleep on the rock-hard bed and paper-thin pillows.
Simply pleasant - The dinner's restaurant recommended by the reception was fantastic.
The continental breakfast was muffins, danishes and orange juice.
It is not a very healthy fare, but we did not expect any breakfast at all.
The motel is directly across the street from the Del Monte Center (Monterey's mall) and there is a Starbucks, Chipotle, Whole Foods, and other places to shop.
It was pretty apparent that the front desk staff didn't like the low rate I had gotten.
Additionally very informative staff, free internet and pool wasn't filled.
The managerial staff does not appear to be native to the United States so their verbal expressions, etc need to be provided extra tolerance and cultural sensitivity.
Parking is very tight, especially when there are large jeeps and 4x4's squashed in there.
The pool looked nice, however, I didn’t use it.
It isn’t quite within walking distance of the downtown area and attractions, but downttown and the waterfront is a quick and easy drive with plenty of inexpensive parking.
Wi-fi signal was so weak it was unusable.
Our room in the back corner of Padre Oaks was tidy and clean.
Very reasonable rates ($55/65/45/45 for a Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon night stay), conveniently located, clean room, and friendly front-desk service.
This was a comfortable clean motel that provided we needed for a short stop over break in Monteray, the hotel was well located to aquarium and the room was a good size.
Just across from a nice shopping center, friendly staff and the room was extremely clean.
Location was the only semi good thing and room was clean.
