  Hotel oscar is next to the railway lines and metro: both are right across the street and up 1/2 block. $60 per night and had a great balcony (room 608? When we go back we will be staying again as there is no motel more convenient to the metro/train. We rode the train from the airport directly to the Larissa station and. The lobby is nice and we sat for over an hour studying maps. The front desk sent us to a great place to eat within walking distance.

  Friendly staff, typical good Greek hospitality, excellent location next to metro, clean large rooms, piscine with fantastic view to Parthenon, good price, close to museums and other main attractions (Omonia, Sintagma, Plaka, Monastiraki, Akropolis), sufficient breakfast, beautiful paintings from famous painters in the basement.

  Excellent hotel, with extremely friendly staff, good breakfast, logical price, very good location-METRO, close to museums and to down town area, exceptional expensive paintings on the walls from very famous European painters.

  It's right off the metro line which was very convient. But it was clean and the staff was nice.

  I had booked a large room with a King size bed, fruit and wine, and two hours of free internet.

  When we arrived there was no reservation made, and they could not locate it becasue it was a holiday in Greece. They had a room available for us and were quick to get us keys, without requiring any information from us, other then our names. When we got to the room, it was a small room with two full size bed crammed into it, dirty carpets and a very, very small bathroom which didn't even offer complementary shampoo. I went to the reception to complain about the room and they told me that I actually got the best room they had. Brekfast was horrible, the tray with eggs had no heat, so they served cold eggs that actually looked brown on top from being so cold.

  The breakfast was horrible, and even though the breakfast hours run long, the food was usually gone after 2 hours because of the hungry mob. The staff was insulting, rude, and not helpful. I strongly advise to interact with the staff as little as possible. The rooms were very old, and need to be re-modeled. They were also noisy, our room was near the top and when they would have drinks at the bar it was so noisy we could not go to sleep. There are many other 3-star hotels that are worth the money.

  Excellent location near metro and Larissa station; most horrible breakfast. Happily, just 50 meters away is the Larissa-station, wich has a good coffee-corner with sandwiches etc. Direct environment has nothing for tourists, except the trainstation (Larissa) and metro.

  The lifts are very slow, but when at holiday. Airco worked adequatly and the rooms have a big balcony overlooking nothing worthwhile.

  Tea is included with breakfast but has to be paid for at dinner.

  The male receptionist is the rudest and the most unhelpful I have ever seen. I was shocked to see that cats piss on the tables just before the dinner and the receptionist was just laughing at it. The staff is very hungry for tips, but the service is below terrible. Will not come back to this cats toilet even if offered a million dollars.
