Orchard Hotel San Francisco - 旧金山

It was very clean and situated in a great location.

Excellent situation to start the visit of San Francisco, the location of this hotel is perfect for convenient public transportation.

Centrally located and on the cable car route, it provided a nice clean place to stay and a good location base to see the city.

Door staff handy for getting taxis and booking shuttle back to the airport.

It's a boutique but seems to have a lot of services of a larger hotel (never a problem getting a cab, arranged my taxi back to the airport w/o a hitch).

The rooms were stylish, very clean, and we were upgraded to suite, which had a king size bed and a separate living room with a couch with a pull out bed (not bad for $179/night).

We had one regular room with a kind bed, and a suite which had a king bed in the bedroom and a queen sofa bed in the living room for our children.

The bed, sitting room and bathroom gave it an apartment feel.

The room was fabulous, lovely bed, great bathroom with powerful shower (and bath) and really comfortable.

Large room, king sized bed, mini bar, iron, hair dryer, good sized bath.

Offered continental breakfast every morning at the restaurant/bar in the hotel.

The prices in the hotel's restaurant and bar were on the high side but with a number of restaurants in the area, this was not a problem.

Courteous and efficient hotel staff, beautiful rooms with upgraded ammenities, a super-cool restaurant/bar and a first class complementary continental breakfast.

I only ate breakfast at the hotel once (food too salty but coffee was amazing) as Sears Diner (best breaki in San Fran) is around the corner as are many great restaurants.

Breakfast is at best pretty average, and based on that, plus the very dated look of the dining room, I elected not to even try out the restaurant.

Everyone we met from the front desk staff to the concierge to the doorman were very willing to be as helpful as they could be.

Oh, and the staff at the front desk were not friendly either, in fact upon check-out I gave the young lady the wrong room number and she rolled her eyes at me, then looked at her fellow employee like "Can you believe this?

Only downside is no jacuzzi or pool, but this is afterall, a boutique hotel.

If you are looking for a full excerise room with a pool this hotel does not offer this but they do offer an opportunity to attend a gym.

I believe the valet car parking at the Orchard was $34 per day.

Great sheets and comforter, spacious, DVD library with free movies in lobby, Wired AND Wireless FREE high speed internet, tub and glass shower.

Also complimentary were the wireless, high speed internet.

The bathroom was scrubbed clean and everything smelled very fresh.

The staff was very friendly and helpful; room was updated, very clean and spacious.

But, if you want a reasonably priced hotel with great service and clean, well-equiped rooms with good views in a great part of the City, stay at the Orchard.
