Orchard Garden Hotel San Francisco - 旧金山

Situated in the middle of San Francisco, just 50 feet from the entrance to Chinatown, the Orchard Garden was an ideal location for all of our friends who came in from all over the United States.

The location was great for us -- right next to Chinatown and close to the public transportation hub of Market Street.

Its also in a great location as its right next to Chinatown and a 5-10 min walk to a ton of great restaurants and shops.

From hailing us the perfect taxi to recommending two very good restaurants, to getting us to the airport in time, the staff helped make the trip easier.

The staff will recommend restaurants as well if you ask and are very helpful with regatrds to directions etc as well; they will also book you taxi's / city cars to get you to the airport etc.

Huge room packed with facilities and a large bed and wonderful bathroom.

The room, although on the small side, is immaculately clean, nicely furnished, very relaxing bed, flatscreen TV.

I loved the Aveda bath products, California King size bed, cozy comforter, and perfectly-weighted robes.

Otherwise, very clean, comfortable bed, nice bath and tv channel options.

The room was exceptionally and tastefully furnished including a large, flat-screen television and king size bed.

We used the hotel restaurant for breakfasts and were pleasantly surprised by quality of breakfast.

Did not eat in the restaurant, but did enjoy a glass of wine and some cheese in the comfortable bar area.

We didn't try the food always went out - plenty of restaurants (breakfast cafes) within easy walking distance.

Be warned that due to the restaurant not yet being opened, the breakfast offerings are limited.

The restaurant adjacent to the lobby was not open at the time, therefore a continental breakfast was served in the lobby; there were 3-4 tables set up between 7-10am.

The front desk staff did a great job of stirring me to a not to tourisy Chineese Restaurant in China Town.

After I checked out the staff put my bags in storage while I attended my conference, and they set me up with their house car service to take me back to the airport.

Car parking (valet) at the hotel is expensive at 33 dollars per night so we parked just up the road is Stockton Sutter car park for less than half that.

The hotel was also having some problems as result of a leak, so there was only one elevator working (and long waits for it) and the roof garden was not available.

Parking was expensive at $38/day, and it took about 30 minutes for them to retrieve our car (they use a 3rd party for that).

Wireless internet was free and easy to use.

Closet was a bit on the small size, while the work desk was a little cramped when using a laptop, but the complimentary wi-fi worked well.

Clean (If a room is not clean I will complain our room was spotless).

The room and hotel was brand new, so everything was clean and fresh.

The lobby and our room smelled fresh and clean and looked it.

The staff were very helpful, rooms were very clean.
