Opalen Gothenburg Scandic - 哥德堡

Located in a quiet housing zone in the suburbs of Gothenburg and the only good in that hotel is its location.

The location is also excellent, it's a 15min walk to the city centre but there's also a tram stop right outside if you're feeling lazy.

The location was perfect for us - to participate in a conference at Svenska Mässan, the hotel staff were very friendly and the room was clean.

They also helped us arrange a taxi at 3 am in the morning for the airport.

We found the hotel easily, the airport shuttle bus drops you at a big intersection about 10min walk from the hotel and we just walked up a long avenue to reach the hotel.

The rooms are average by European standards but the bath is very large (with a tub!

Single Rooms are typical Europian SMALL with only a single bed.

I was a little worried about how small the room would be for the 2 of us, as I booked the single room with spare fold-down wall bed (being on a budget).

Our room had a flat screen TV, a nice leather chair and ottoman and a desk and there was still room to walk.

Rooms very comfortable, breakfast was good too.

We decide not to eat breakfast in the suite but instead visited the buffét for breakfast at 10 am, not crowed at all.

Additionally the hotel facilities are excellent, huge glass wall window and breakfast is a very good.

Parking in the city is paid, hotel is clean and the restaurant is very good.

There was everything you could think of in terms of European breakfast items plus bacon, eggs, and other items we didn't see elsewhere.

Beautiful furniture, modern and comfortable - I really appreciated having an iron too, breakfast buffet is great as well.

A special mention of the reception staff who were extremely cordial and very helpful.

Overall a great stay and very kind staff.

Quiet and near convention center, over all a good hotel for family, efficient staff.

The hotel have a nice and modern gym, but unfortunately the jacuzzi was closed due to technical problems.

Sauna every night to relax after a long day sightseeing and booked this hotel 3 weeks in advance at a good rate.
