I recently stayed at a hostel in Phnom Penh and had a great experience at Maya Papaya Cafe & Hostel(One Stop). The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, inviting us to relax in their cosy lounge area while we waited to check in. The location was perfect, just a short distance from Sisowath Quay, making it convenient for those arriving by speedboat from Vietnam. The breakfast served was excellent, offering great value for money compared to nearby restaurants. Additionally, the hostel offered tours to the Killing Fields, which were also considered to be good value.

The location is great, with a lebanese restaurant nearby and easy access to the genocide museum. The staff is accommodating, helping guests with tuktuk rides and providing good service. The hostel offers excellent facilities such as personal lights, plug sockets, and lockers per bed. there are shower gel and shampoo dispensers in the showers, making it convenient for guests.
The hostel has a shortage of bathrooms, with only one shower and toilet per floor, causing inconvenience for guests and resulting in wet bathroom floors.

As someone who enjoys taking off early, I loved the organized group tuk-tuk trips to the killing fields and other places. The strong AC in the rooms and throughout the building was a bonus. The staff were some of the friendliest I encountered in Cambodia. The place was clean, with a social vibe and plenty of places to relax.
Felt at ease, nothing to complain about.
