Omni Richmond Hotel - 里士满

The location is superb, the hotel is located in a very interesting and staff is friendly and helpful.

The location is good for downtown business, hotel located in the middle of Historic Richmond and the TV needs to be updated.

The location was second to none and was in close proximity to restaurants and museums (the reason for our trip).

In a very convenient location to Shockoe Slip/Bottom and walking distance to some the best restaurants.

If we wanted to go to a mall it would be 15 miles and a $30 e/w taxi fare.

We took the elevator up to the 14th floor, and found a lovely, spotless room with a king-sized bed and nicely appointed bath.

We had a nice corner room, reasonably large, with a comfortable bed and large bathroom.

We also ate at the Peking Pavilion for lunch on Sunday- very mediocre food, and the Hard Shell restaurant a few blocks down, where we had all-you-can-eat crab legs- yummy.

Breakfast restaurant's dishes were not clean.

The breakfast restaurant served a lovely buffet brunch on Easter Sunday.

The next morning, there was a letter under our door from the head of Security, apologizing for the disturbance during the night, and a certificate for a free breakfast at Barlowe's Terrace, the Hotel's restaurant!

Bathroom was large, restaurant - Breakfast buffet was fine and check-in was super quick and efficient.

If service is an index of "4 stars" I'd agree with the rankings -- desk staff and everyone from maids, to bellman seemed friendly and on the ball.

From the housekeeping staff, the front desk, management and valet staff -- everyone is top notch and professional.

Staff at both hotels is very good but service at the Jefferson is at a higher level yet very comfortable and non snooty.

Hotel itself is showing a little wear in the elevators and hallways, but lobby is a marble clad atrium leading to a larger marble clad atrium which is a series of office buildings and can pass for 4 stars.

Parking is expensive but it is the same way at most of the downtown hotels and the valet brings the car up whenever you need it.

Ymca(the Omin's indoor pool was being refininshed), and to Maymont park.

Internet would be free, the facility is awesome.

We were on the 16th floor and we found our room to be clean and comfortable.

Our room had a beautiful view, it was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed.
