Rooms were comfortable and clean and the location of the Hotel is central to most everything you want to see or do while on the west side of Houston.

I visited the hotel during the Labor Day weekend and choose this location versus the Galleria location because it is most frequented by business people and I was looking for something nice, quiet, and readily accessible to the interstate.

This was a business trip and the hotel was chosen because its location is near to the major oil company offices in Houston.

Getting a taxi is not easy in this part of Houston for some reason and so you need to book one rather expect one to be passing or waiting outside the hotel.

The rooms, at first appear to be a bit old fashioned, but the beds and bed linens are great and they really give the rooms a luxury feel.

It was a standard two double bed room which seemed like it had been decorated relatively recently.

Everyone who works here is very friendly, the rooms are very clean with comfortable beds and nice bathrooms, and the restaurant downstairs is great also.

They even went so far as to have 2 roses placed on our pillows along with a chocolate cake & candles and chocolate covered strawberries on the bed in our room the day of my sweetheart's birthday.

I was here working for a night, but the room was nice, the shower and bed worked and the staff was helpful.

We did not eat the restaurant but it smelled delicious at both dinner and breakfast.

Only thing I wished they would have had was a free breakfast as the restaurant was quite pricey.

The in-hotel restaurant is very good, but just breakfast can easily cost you $15.

I only sampled the restaurant at breakfast which was good with friendly and efficient staff even at busy times.

The hotel building is impressive and particularly on the inside as there is a vast atrium which contains the lobby, restaurant, lounge areas, private dining areas and the entrances to other rooms such as conference / meeting rooms.

The level of service from the concierge desk impressed me.

One service that was particularly noteworthy was the concierge desk.

I didn’t use any of the leisure facilities like the pool or gym.

We thought that parking was limited to the spaces adjacent to the pool so we waited until someone left their parking space.

I explored the 2nd floor access to the pool and health fitness center and was disappointed.

Joining the Select Guest program gave us free wireless internet and a very speedy check-in.

I'm talking as slow as a dial-up connection.

Overall, it's quiet and clean with good service and very nice rooms.

Well I just happened to be speaking with a membership manager who truly cared about my getting my business. When I finally got to the room, my mouth dropped and tears came to my eyes. They upgraded me to a suite (without me asking for one) and had ballons and a birthday cake slice waing for me.

The hotel was very nice with great service. We went to the restaurant, and they told us we could sit in one of the many lovely seating areas in the hotel and a server would come to us.

It is attractively designed with a water feature that connects with the lake outside and contains huge fish. I requested a quiet room as I was concerned about the noise and mine (4224) was very quiet. It was a standard two double bed room which seemed like it had been decorated relatively recently. The bathroom was very small - the open door almost reached the toilet and the bath was really only big enough for use as a shower. I only sampled the restaurant at breakfast which was good with friendly and efficient staff even at busy times. I didn’t use any of the leisure facilities like the pool or gym.

There was a wedding taking place at the hotel the day I was there and it still seemed quiet. I stood up and sat at another table near me, my waiter finally woke up and noticed something was wrong, he went to get the manager, after I explained what happened, the manager said they had just sprayed for bugs a day before this has never happened before,, (right). As far as the rooms, they are very nice, all new furnishing, I would stay here again, but not eat here, where there is one there is many.

We placed a reservation online for this Omni for $89/night. The hotel staff was courteous although they only mentioned upon our checking in that we may hear some construction noise between the hours of 9 AM and 6 PM. The lobby was spacious but filled with a wedding party when we arrived. Overall, the hotel is attractive, the staff courteous but minor touches as mentioned above make me not want to visit here again.

The fifth floor looked like it had already been renovated because the carpet looked new and the furniture was of modern styling. The bathroom was tiny but well appointed. It was a Saturday night that we stayed and we retired early but around 11:30 PM we heard banging on the door (I thought it was ours) with some kids trying to get back into their room. Also, the room doors are very heavy (but obviously not soundproof) and they slam loudly.

Let's start with the lobby that is lush with plants and vases of orchids. The restaurant was surprisingly good and did a good job of catering to the under 6 set. The rooms are nice, but becoming a bit shabby. I do like to have sheet enclosed blankets, as it is so much cleaner than just a blanket on the bed. The maid service is good, but they bang in and out of rooms starting at 7 am making a late sleeping morning impossible. The prices for the in-room bar are astronomical. There is a Conoco station across the street for water, sodas and snacks.

The bar is lacking in ambiance and seats, altho peanuts are fun to eat and then throw shells on floor. Even in the hot tub, the noise was pervasive.

The staff were uniformly friendly and helpful, and the hotel itself was very nice. Altogether an excellent hotel experience.
Very nice room on I-10 on west side of town. One nice freebie was wireless internet access included in the price.

Joining the Select Guest program gave us free wireless internet and a very speedy check-in. The staff are extremely friendly and quick to offer assistance. Our room was large, clean and beautifully decorated. The flat-screen TV was a nice touch and the floor-to-ceiling windows overlooked a man-made "lake" featuring a fountain.

The breakfast buffet was impressive, going above and beyond the standard continental fare with several hot choices, including an omelet station.

Our room was ready and waiting for our early check in (as requested), at 2 pm. Nicely appointed room, with a great LCD tv and a decent view over the fountains. We were on the top floor and found the room to be very quiet. We were travelling with our two children and there was no problem with them or the size of the room. Check out was easily done on the tv in the morning. Great parking, bright easy to see, felt safe. Didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice.

Only thing I wished they would have had was a free breakfast as the restaurant was quite pricey.
