We chose this hotel because in the catalouge it seemed good with acceptable prices.

The location is fantastic, it's situated right across the street from the beach in Copacabana.

The location is fantastic and bathroom need a good renovation.

The location is perfect and very nice place in front of Copacabana beach.

The location is good for Copacabana and subway station (a few minutes walk away).

Other advantages included proximity to the beach and metro.

Copacabana Beach, everything else sucks about the hotel, the hotel is old, very old, the beds are very tiny, no bath tub.

Our room was stinky and dark with a small bed.

Good standard buffet breakfast in a lovely dining room and 3/4 star quality rooms.

The room was decent with large closet and clean bathroom.

Also, for women who have thick hair like me, you should be aware that the a/c only blows into the room proper and doesn't come in thru vents so the bathroom gets HOT and stuffy and your hair will poof up in the Rio weather.

Nice room and vaious breakfast in the beautiful restaurant.

For lunch or dinner, great restaurants just around corner.

They serve complimentary breakfast and while you eat, you look directly out into the ocean view.

Fabulous views and free excellent breakfast.

Moreover excellent breakfast buffet choice.

The Olinda Othon classic was passable, the reception staff were very helpful and breakfast buffet was delicious.

Concierge staff was excellent including making recommendations regarding dining.

Concierge staff were friendly and our accommodations were comfortable.

Loved the location, rio de Janeiro was delightful and the maid service was very good.

LOCATION - good for Copa beach and front desk personell was very helpful.

The front desk was ok with some english spoken, but i couldn't trust them for any good advice for places to go and things to see.

I was complaining for the excessive fee in a civil way, but he called the security guy and asked my guest to leave, they are just employees they have no right yelling back at me, read all hotel rules before making reservation.

We stayed in a standard room and our room was tidy but not sanitary or clean -.

    The location is perfect, this is an excellent hotel and the staff didn't do a really good job refilling items. Bathroom are comfortable, breakfast is delicious.

    Single pane old style sash windows let in lots of noise and elevator can be slow sometimes.

    The location is superb, the famous Hotel Copacabana is right down the street and the staff members are friendly. The rooms are big and the breakfast is amazing.

    The location is fantastic and bathroom need a good renovation.

    The hotel rooms are outdated and the old style window can't block out the street noise at night. Furthermore fOOD-We didnt eat in the evening.

    Nice view, within easy walking distance of all outdoor pursuits and classic for short stay tourist trips. Concierge staff were friendly and our accommodations were comfortable. The wet/dry bar was well stocked.

    Our room had excellent views over cocabana beach and all the restaurants we tried nearby were good. The Olinda Othon classic was passable, the reception staff were very helpful and breakfast buffet was delicious.
