The Fjordhotel in Olden provided a database with helpful information about local eateries and attractions. The room I stayed in had a stunning view of the fjord, with a balcony for enjoying the beautiful scenery.

One minor negative was the lack of a tea/coffee making facility in the room. However, the manager did offer a complimentary cup of coffee in the evening, although it was served in a slightly awkward manner.

We were pleasantly surprised by the cozy lounge area and live piano music in the downstairs of the hotel. The buffet dinner room offered a delicious meal with a breathtaking fjord view. The manager and staff were classy and accommodating, making our stay enjoyable. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and provided a stunning balcony view. The location was perfect for our itinerary, with easy access to the Briksdal glacier. we highly recommend this hotel for its great location and views.

The decor of the hotel was lovely, with a touch of European charm. The cozy lounge area with live piano music created a pleasant atmosphere. The wide and padded stairs were perfect for senior people like myself, as they were easy to navigate. The hotel's accessibility made it a comfortable stay for seniors.

The only improvement I would suggest for a better vacation for senior people is better assistance from the staff. It would be wonderful if the children working there could provide more attentive and friendly service to make our stay even more enjoyable.
