      The owner "upgraded" us from a queen size bed to two doubles and the very quiet room he assigned us was in a private corner of the complex.

      The room had plenty of space and comfortable beds.

      The motel is, however, a bit "tired," as are many Cape Cod motels, but as a friend said, "If the beds are good and the water is hot then there is no problem.

      Well, the beds were indeed good and there was an abundance of very hot water.

      All of the rooms would not be as quiet or as private.

      One could easily walk to the shops and restaurants in downtown Orleans.

The staff members we encountered, especially the woman who took care of our room, were friendly, courteous, and helpful. The motel is, however, a bit "tired," as are many Cape Cod motels, but as a friend said, "If the beds are good and the water is hot then there is no problem. Well, the beds were indeed good and there was an abundance of very hot water.
