In addition the exterior don't look that great, courteous staff accomodated our requests to check in early after overnight travel and exceeded expectations from beginning to end - beautifully appointed large room.
Rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was fine.
Food in the Town Hall Restaurant was excellent and the location was ideal for the Irish dance Championships we were attending.

Shannon Airport

23km or approximately 20 minutes

Take the N19 exit and at the forth roundabout, take the N18 signposted Galway, then Ennis exit off duel carriageway (N85) and continue straight through two roundabouts and take thirrd exit on Clare Abbey roundabout. Approach traffic lights and turn right continuing to station roundabout. Take first exit off roundabout and continue straight on Station Road. Hotel entrance is on the right hand once you approach the end of Station Road.

Dublin, via Limerick

235km

Take the N7 from Dublin, signposted Limerick. Pass through the villages of Moneygall, Toomevara and Birdhill. On arrival in Limerick, at Parkway Roundabout take the third exit onto the N7 (signposted City Centre, Galway (N18), Shannon Airport) and follow signs for N18, Galway or Ennis while navigating the city.
