The location is amazing and quiet in Tiberias or near the beach. It's short walk to the Sea of Galilee for over 50 years and Israel and sightseeing.

The room was newly renovated & inviting together with a' putmeup' bed as well as bedroom...

Thank you for a such great stay. The venue is simple, food is awesome, pleasant location in the Sea of Galilee area. The staff is pleasant and the breakfast is good. I enjoyed my room - very pretty with a 'put-me-up' bed.

the room we were changed to was great-sized and fancy and included a flat-screen tv with satellite channels, a fridge and tea/coffee making equipment.

We loved staying at this hotel on the lake shore. It was easy to find as it was right off the highway, and the location in the area was perfect as it was right in the crowded center. The hotel facilities were fantastic including the heated swimming pool at a nearby location. The breakfast was the best we've had - a large variety of food. The staff was friendly and helpful.
Not one thing.

Huge recently refurbishd room.... Use of huge swimming pool on adjacent Kibbutz Kinneret.Great breakfast...Hotel totally fine for sleeping, eating breakfast and travelling in the vicinity.
No mirror in bedroom at all. Jacuzzi in bathroom only it was really only a bath, disappointing..Local access to Lake Kinneret neglected.

The staff was very helpful and friendly and very kind to us. We also enjoyed having a fridge and hot pot for tea and coffee. Breakfast was included and was wonderful. It was easy to catch a sherut or taxi or bus to nearby Tiberias or walk south to a little nearby shopping center. I would gladly stay here again.
You can smell the cows at night, but it wasn't really too bothersome. And even though it's located on the Sea of Galilee, there is no swimming spot.

Comfortable beds in our superior room. Friendliness from the whole staff.

This hotel is a gem on the shore of lake Galilee. The location is perfect, right in the crowded center of the action. The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful, ensuring a warm and welcoming stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with the added bonus of a terrace overlooking the Kinneret to enjoy the stunning views. The breakfast buffet is a highlight, with a wide variety of delicious options, including omelets made to order.
The only thing that could be improved is the room maintenance.

Lovely stay at a very nice place
We had a fantastic stay at Ohalo Manor. The twin room we stayed in was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The bathroom, complete with a bath shower, was a great size, and we appreciated the tea and coffee making facilities in the room.

Ohalo Manor is situated within a kibbutz, but many of the rooms are new and resemble hotel living much more than kibbutz living. The breakfast was of relatively high quality and variety, and the proximity to the Kinneret is hard to beat without paying at least double. Staff were friendly and helpful for the most part.
At the same time, a kibbutz is a kibbutz. It smells faintly of manure everywhere you go, although I think one gets used to that quickly. The room we had was, we were told, one of the newer and nicer rooms, but I'm fairly certain its construction was done by the kibbutzniks, not outsourced, because in the bathroom there was a tile in the bathtub that was not properly caulked and led to serious leakage (there was also quite a bit of mold on the walls that seemed premature given the recent renovation).

In a beautiful location close to the Sea of Galilee, the Ohalo Manor Hotel is comfortable and ideal for families with the opportunity to have adjoining rooms. It is clean and has wonderful breakfasts, overlooking the lake.
The things we did not like were: the proximity of the road to our rooms - the noise continued until late at night and early in the morning; and the smell of the drains(which actually improved the morning we left) and the absence of water one morning; I expected the "terrace" to be more substantial

Complimentary breakfast and Wi-Fi were appreciated. Convenient location for exploring the region. Enjoyed the beautiful view from the room.
Rooms were outdated and had cleanliness issues including stained bedding and bugs. Limited amenities like no soap and shower flooding.
