The hotel boasts a superb location with a stunning view of the sea. Guests can take a lovely stroll into the nearby village to enjoy hospitable and delicious restaurants. The rooms are generally well-maintained and feature modern amenities, with comfortable furnishings and good water pressure in the bathroom. The friendly and welcoming staff provide excellent service as well as bike rentals. Unfortunately, some guests mentioned slow internet connections, and there may be an additional credit card fee.

The location directly across from Buffalo Beach is fantastic. The views morning, afternoon, and evening all beautiful. In the evening I could hear the waves crashing on the shore. It's also fairly close to the main street and activities (5-10 minutes) so it was easy to walk everywhere. The Whitiangea shoreline is lovely to walk. I was in town to meet family/friends. They came and went frequently and the motel owner was extremely hospitable, taking and passing on messages when family couldnt reach me. There were several of us staying at the Motel and we all thought it was clean, friendly, and good value for the money. It has a small kitchenette w all necessary amenities, TV, and WiFi, and a good working heater for those cold NZ winter nights, comfortable bed and a good shower (impt). The place was refurbished last year, so it's fresh and modern. Rooms were cleaned daily. I never noticed street noise or noise from neighboring tenants. Both upstairs and downstairs units have good views of the beach with balconey's or porches for sitting outside and enjoying the sun and view. I highly recommend the Motel, and also want to give a shout out to the owner Alan, for making the stay so easy and enjoyable.

It is a motel, so furnishings are those of a motel ... just basics.

We had a great-sized executive king suite facing sea. A bath in the a decent size bathroom was super awesome.

My stay was very nice of 4 nights. The location was perfect and exceptionally nice, relatively close to a key beach. Moreover, it's really close to the restaurants and beach, the main shopping centre and Whitianga.

Particularly good location right on the sea front made it easy to get to key attractions.

It was as expected, had a very nice stay of 4 nights. Everything in this hotel was really good: magnificent location and amiable staff. Loved the location on the Peninsula. Went to Stoked Restaurant for drink or two, set within a close distance from the venue.

Great access to local attractions like Hot Water Beach and Cathedral Cove, with the beach just across the road. The hosts provided amenities like a coffee press and a good selection of teas, making our stay more comfortable. Plus, the proximity to town meant we had plenty of food options within walking distance.

The walls were paper-thin, so we had to endure the noise from other guests and even the owners living above us. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy our stay.

The service was amazing. The new owners were so helpful with activities we should look put for and were very approachable. They were so courteous and were great hosts.

I can't fault them and will be booking a family trip in February!

Excellent staff, spacious balcony, good ocean view, short distance to restaurants, great kitchen.

The atmosphere of the hotel is comfortable. The rooms are neat and wonderfully appointed, the beds are comfy.

Had a lovely stay of 4 nights, everything was really good. We only slept at the single room with separate bedroom, but liked it.

All facilities inside and out were very well mainitained.

The room was fashionable and reasonably large, with a lovely view straight onto beach. Everything was very good, I liked that.
