Hotel Oceano Palace Mazatlan - Mazatlán

This Hotel does have excellent location, beach, and view.

Hotel was in a great location, the service was always good and our rooms were cleaned every day.

The beach was even better and the location was good.

We arrived on January 6th and were picked up at the airport and transported by bus to the hotel.

Don't drink the tap water as we were told on the bus from the airport that the quality was not good.

It was much as expected with 2 double beds, a tv (no remote and 2 english channels CNN & HBO), bathroom with tub & shower and a terrific view of the ocean and 2 islands out front.

I traveled with 3 other groups of people and everybody's bathroom smelled like sewer, in one bathroom, the toilet did not flush and the bathtub felt like it was going to fall through the floor when you stood in it.

The staff also assited us in transfering from our first room - it had exposed wires, no air conditioning, mold in bathroom, damaged door, damaged safe, 2 worn beds, and oh ya a really big bug in the shower first morning.

When you book all inclusive make sure you specify you want a Belcony with a Ocean view and 2 double bed with a full bathroom.

Or you will get stuck up on 5th floor with NO belcony No Mountain view just a NOISY Parking Lot that stays busy ALL Night Long, and 1 double bed thats as hard as a rock and too short to stretch out flat on your back, and just a Shower with a toilet.

Breakfast by far the best, unless you really really like Mexican Cuisine.

Breakfasts were ok - omlettes and potatoes the best- otherwise go check out all the great restaurants in the area.

Yes, there are other restaurants where you can eat at and have some great food, but if you don't want to deal with going anyplace else the hotel food is good enough.

The elevators, pool area, restaurant, washrooms, bar, and stair exit where dirty could use soap and water.

Everyone in the restaurant had a gloomy look on their faces at every meal, no one enjoyed the food at all.

First off, the staff was incredible, from the bartenders to waiters to housecleaning and the front desk, top notch!

The beach was lovely and clean, the hotel staff was awesome, the service got even better.

The hotel lobby is open from back to front over looking the pool and beach and is where the only bar is located.

Hater water questionable, elevators didn't work, pool not heated and staff indifferent to problems.

The grounds, lobby, pool, restaurant were great.
