For the price we paid below standard's of other similar hotels and you're money would be better spent elsewhere.
I loved the amenities that this hotel had to offer for such a reasonable price.
I would personally pay a bit more money to stay at a nicer hotel next time.

Comfortable and the best location, hotel is located directly on the beach in a little quieter northern part of Fort Lauderdale.

For this experience, I paid an internet "reduced rate" of $100 for the room and spent $60 on taxis from the cruise port to the airport!
We had an evening flight out, and we even took the bus to the airport- very easy, switched buses one time, and made it there in plenty of time.
They gave my husband and I a room with a king sized bed that they said was a handicapped room but I didn't see anything that indicated that.
Once we spotted bugs in the bed, but thankfully it was before we went to sleep, so we just got a new room.
After sleeping in a musty, moldy smelling room, with a rock hard bed and springs that poke your back, you wake up to crappy coffee and pull back a wrinkled mildewed plastic shower curtain.
I paid for a king sized bed and received two double beds instead.
I didn't have a smelly room, nor where there stains on any of the floor/bed/sheets/etc.
We walked through the restaurant to see the bar, outdoor eating area, pool, jacuzzi, and ocean.
Our House is a great local bar that has breakfast specials and $3.

Close to many restaurants from fine cuisine to McDonald's for the kids.
Also the maid service was marginal at best, the concierge was very helpful as well and we upgrated our room to a newly renovated one.
We encountered a small problem with the first room that we were given, but when we notified the front desk staff we were rapidly moved to a new room.
Also a WONDERFUL elevator directly to the pool/beach area so you don't have to walk through the lobby.
Great to get out of the elevator directly at the pool area without going to lobby.

My only negative comment is that the wireless intenet connecion is iffy.
Well, it was there, but it was wired on, and had toppled over.
The hotel is right on the beach with a beautiful pool/hot tub area which is kept CLEAN.
The room was clean and at the tiki bar were good.
