Ocean Forest Plaza Myrtle Beach - 默特尔比奇

The proximity of the beach is nice in relation to the resort as well as the location to the rest of the area's of the Grand Strand.

The hotel is in a good location , we did not have to travel that far to get food or find other attractions.

The location is great because it is very close to everything in Myrtle Beach; it's especially convenient to Broadway at the Beach.

We had definitely started on the wrong foot our month long vacation.

I had to get out of our mini-van and direct my husband as we only had literally about a foot on both sides.

We had 2 queen beds which the room was too small for, and there was a sleep mode on the living room TV but not on the tv in the bedroom!

We spent 6 nights at the Ocean Forest Plaza and our bed was made twice, the bathroom floor was never cleaned and one day the maid never gave us clean towels.

We booked a 1 bedroom with a king bed, oceanfront, with our vacation club Global Connections and I must say I upon our arrival I was quite impressed with the unit.

The toilet in the bathroom did not flush and the hotel room smelled very badly.

The curtains in the bedroom did not fit the window and were not room-darkening, and there was a light outside in the hall.

We did not use the restaurant or bar, so I can't comment on those areas.

There is a restaurant - breakfast "buffet" open Monday - Saturday until 11:00 am.

We had breakfast the first morning we were there in the on site restaurant(which only serves breakfast) and left with a more than full belly.

On the morning after our first night we tried the breakfast buffet in the restaurant on the 7th floor.

They had a DJ by the pool and there is a poolside grill/bar serving fast food, drinks, ice cream, etc.

In general the staff is lazy - from the receptionist to the maids.

To sum it up, if it were only for the room we would return, but the staff / service with the exception of the maids we had on the first two days either didn't know what they're doing or didn't feel like doing it.

Location was again not bad not great, the front desk staff was as sweet as could be and our room was absolutly gorgeous.

The view was beautiful, the only hotel staff were helpful and friendly, the front desk was very nice.

The parking garage was too narrow, we had to call housekeeping four times before we got extra pillows, blanket and for them to vacuum the floor, the indoor pool was not heated too cold, no light bulbs in two lamps.

The outdoor pool was tiny for a 23 story building, the prices were good and the lobby was attractive and inviting.

I agree the elevators are usually slow, and parking a bit cramped, but there's also outdoor parking available.

We had such a nice weekend the staff was great and the resort was clean and the room was very well kept and had everything we needed to complete our stay.

The kitchen and bath areas were both very clean.

We were on the 16th floor and found our room to be spacious and clean.

Furthermore the room was beautiful and the pools were clean and large.

The staff we talked to them were very nice and the room was clean.
