This is a great location that is close to everything that you need.

Very convenient location that's close to all tourist sites and far enough away from them to get out of the crowds.

Quiet area within walking distance of downtown Paris and cosy Hotel on a fantastic location next to le Jardin du Luxembourg.

Metro stop almost on doorstep - ideal from CDG airport or Gare du Nord station.

The big bonus is having the RER train station practically across the street - this provides access to the airport, the Gare du Nord train station and the metro system.

The room was small as are Paris hotel rooms, but the bed was comfy, the bathroom new with instant hot water and the room decor very tasteful.

Beyond that, our room was lovely: modern, smart furnishings, individual A/C, minibar, comfortable bed, clean bathroom with shower/tub.

The bed was very comfortable, the room was quiet with the window closed, the bathroom sparkled, and the staff were very nice.

Although the rooms are small by American standards, there was room to walk around the bed.

We were given a standard room 101 on arrival and that room is small (but no smaller than many £100+ a night London rooms) with a large bathroom (including bath/shower) overlooking the street.

Service was good and the cafe-bar downstairs did a very nice Petit Parisien breakfast for 5.

We found the receptionist, Sabine to be very helpful and courteous - she went out of her way to book us into a restaurant on the night we arrived (Sunday - most restaurants close in Paris!

I would think the staff in the attached restaurant would be aware of the possibility of this mistake being made, especially as I mentioned we were hotel guests to the waitress and was obviously trying to order a continental style breakfast.

We didn't eat breakfast at the hotel but hot and cold food is available for Eur13.

The front desk staff/concierge is amazing - friendly and very helpful.

Staff was VERY helpful, good service, kind and always clear about arrangements.

I would suggest paying the extra money to take the shuttle, as it took us two hours to find the train and we were exhausted.

Housekeeping here was quite conscientious.

I returned to Paris the following week and stayed at the Hotel du Pantheon, where I will happily stay again since I spent quite a bit of time uploading pictures via the FREE wi-fi connectivity (in the lobby).

I would not stay there again, however, because I discovered upon arrival that "High speed internet access in all rooms (Wi-Fi network)" (quotation from their web site) is not free.

They serve nice coffee in the morning (and other beverages throughout the day) and have free wireless.

It was clean and the bathroom was spotless with plenty of hot water.

Yes, the rooms are small, but they are very clean and bright and air conditioned.

The bathroom was also small, but again spotless, with a great shower.

It was quite small but adequate and very clean especially the bathroom.

Able to service all our requests, clean and quiet room.
