I have tried other hotels in the area and none compared as far as value.

I stayed at the Oak Inn in Richmond Hill, Ontario for 3 weeks while I was employed temporarily at a nearby location.

Most of our stay was quite satisfactory and enjoyable, bed was very nice staff was very helpful and friendly.

Actually, it wasn't so bad; the walls are so poorly insulated that the heat from neighboring rooms was sufficient.

However, I could also hear the TV from the next room, which seemed to be permanently tuned to some mindless comedy program.

It was provided with clean towels and sheets daily, even when I asked for no room service that day.

Instead of asking for a repair, or another room, I resolved to simply do without heat.

Good value for the money and very pleasant staff upon arrival.

In fact, the maid even removed my empty beer cans (that I had intended to return for the deposit money).

On the positive side, the room was comfortable and clean.

      Very handy for public transport into the city, the room 101 is very comfortable and the soap dispenser is just hard to use.

      A little unsettling that anyone can walk in from off the street and breakfast could be improved.
