Some famous spots to see in Annapolis include the United States naval academy, Maryland state house, Sandy point state park which lies 19km away from downtown. In the park guests can swim, fish and windsurf. Hammond-Harwood house built in 1774 features colonial furnishings and old paintings. Annapolis is the sailing capital of the United States, so it is very advisable to take a two-hour cruise aboard the Schooner Woodwind.

Getting there.

The city is connected to Washington, D.C. by a commuter bus service. There is also a local bus service to Annapolis from the Patapsco light rail station in Baltimore. From Baltimore-Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport there is a bus service into town.

Getting around.

It is easy to move around the city on foot. Driving a car is not a problem in Annapolis due to the plenty of parking spaces. One can also get around on a bicycle.

  Thats about all the good for this 3* hotel, hospitable staff and again the furniture appears cheap and there was a lot of stains on the carpet.

  Wonderful stay, excellent service and our room was spacious and clean.

  The front desk staff did not know any restaurants in the area and the pillows were thin and uncomfortable.

  Wonderful usna commisioning week stay for our large family and very friendly and helpful staff. Clean , great beds and nice quiet bar/restuarant. Food available and very good choice.

  This hotel is by far the best place to stay in Annapolis, the rooms are a nice size and have wonderful ammenities, Irish staff are very welcoming.
