Views are excellent, just a short walk to the beach and the best thing about this hotel is the position.
The location was great - right on the beach, the hotel's breakfast buffet was good and cleaning staff were friendly and helpful.

Its location was great and the beach was lovely.
The room was tidy otherwise, however the single main driving factor for selecting this particular type of room were the images displayed on the website showing a spa bath with beach views close to the window, which we definitely intended on using.
The bed was extremely comfortable and dinner in the restaurant was surprisingly good.
The service was fine, our bed a king size was clean and comfortable, the buffet breakfast we had the next morning was tasty.
The unit was indeed very large with a separate lounge/office area and bedroom both of which were spacious as was the bathroom.
The room we got did indeed have a spa bath but it was so short that I simply would not have been able to lie down or sit in it comfortably enough to actually enjoy it, and to share the spa with the lady as intended would have been simply impossible.
We also had an issue with a bland and uninformative concierge member who was unable to successfully recommend a decent dining restaurant and had to wait for her to be relieved by someone more helpful before attaining some more valuable information.
For a light meal 's not a substitute for Windjammers.
Dining outside on the balcony was also delightful.
The wedding that I attended at the Novatel was the best part of my stay and staff was very friendly and helpful.
Location just in from of the fantasic beach and probably the best hotel in the city.
Extends into an outdoor courtyard near the pool.
