Novotel Southampton - 南开普敦

The location is convenient for touring the city walls, the staff are friendly - the hotels is ideally located and the rooms are very nice.

Located in a great location right near the center of Southampton and the hotel is well positioned for the shops.

The hotel is walking distance from the train station, or £3 in a taxi - if like me, you couldn't be bothered dragging a case along!

Location of the hotel is great for proximity to shopping and the port (about a 5 min taxi ride).

The toilet was located in a separate room from the bathroom, which included both a shower and tub.

We stayed for two nights in a Superior room (Queen Size bed and Sofa) prior to our cruise.

The room was very spacious with a rather firm king size bed, settee, desk and a bar fridge.

There was a separate toilet, an excellent bathroom with bath and shower cubicle.

The rooms were spacious, we had a 'novation' room, which had a very nice bathroom, good shower, a desk, good storage and a couch.

The food from the restaurant was good and the location close the West Quay (an excellent shopping complex in Southampton), Oxford st (good restaurants) and the Southamptom wharfs made it a very central place to stay.

The bar was nice, the breakfast was great and we used the pool was pleasant.

The room was large, the bar was very nice and breakfast menu was very acceptable.

The service is excellent, the appropriate room size and the buffet breakfast is served in the lovely restaurant.

Bathroom was very modern, the service at the bar was excellent and breakfast the the morning was very tasty.

The location was excellent for my partner & I needed to be & the staff were very helpful, a choice of restaurants were also available adjacent to hotel and front desk service was friendly and courteous.

Our room faced east over a large car park, central location and the staff were excellent & felt like a boutique hotel as they made every effort to offer a personalised service.

Clean lobby, friendly service and the trainee receptionist was not welcoming.

Gym was very small with only one of each machine, it was at the side of the pool and was the temperature of a sauna - so not great.

They do have a gym (well a running and rowing machine) but the swimming pool is excellent.

The pool is quite small and little cold, but if you treat it more as a splashpool for the sauna it's all fine.

Location convenient ie to see mother and i wish other hotels will follow the free use of internet for a limited time like yours.

The room was clean and served in the restaurant had been closed the night before.

Excellent and helpful staff, clean room, a well stocked bar.

We recently stayed at the hotel, the rooms are fantastic and large and very clean.

For a very reasonable price, good service and the rooms were clean and comfortable.
