Novotel Sheffield Centre - 谢菲尔德

Excellent location for city centre, close to bus and nice breakfast short walk into town.

The location is convenient and close to the railway station.

In the centre of the city close to everything, perfect location - will stay again.

There is around 8 spaces outside the front entrance and 20-25 more underground.

The hotel is located right in the city centre, a 3 min walk from the train station and bus station at right next to the "heart of the city" (where the peace gardens and winter gardens are).

The room was spacious, with a large, comfy bed, a large flat screen television which also enabled you to plug in an MP3 player to the speaker system.

The room corridor was smelly, not sure if the smell was due to cheap and nasty disinfectant or something more disgusting, dusty room, stained sheets and mattress, creaky bed, stained towels.

The bed was made but unfortunately the sheets had not been changed from the previous guest who had used the room.

Nowhere near the standards come to expect: filthy bathroom & light switches, broken bed, repair work from upstairs from 8.

Room superb - wonderful comfy bed - clean - airy - quiet.

I thought that we might have to eat in the room and have limited choice and maybe a surcharge but the full restaurant menu is available right up til midnight in both the restaurant and the bar and even at little individual TV tables for lone guests.

I didn't have breakfast at the hotel, but I walked past the restaurant at breakfast time, and it looked as if there was a good selection of food on offer.

We ate in the restaurant both nights which was fine, the food was quite good and I liked the fact that if you were travelling alone they had televisions you could sit at while eating.

Great choice of seating type in the bar area and restaurant.

After getting some recommendations of restaurants and bars from the staff, and a copy of the town map, we found our way to an excellent Turkish Restaurant in London Road called Zeugma.

Central to centre of city staff friendly, a very comfortable stay and pleasant service.

Service excellent would go back nd recommend, flat screen TV staff lovely and friendly, comfortable and got a decent deal in advance including breakfast.

I liked the location, nice Hotel and front desk staff was great.

My husband and younger son had a swim first thing next morning but the water was quite warm, the pool quite small and there were no add-ons like sauna/jacuzzi.

The lobby, restaurant and swimming pool looked shiny and new.

Good on site parking, very close to train station and pool is in hotel not very big.

My only real complaint is the wi-fi charge, which given the exchange rate is about $40 a day.

The hotel has been recently refurbished and the lobby, corridors and rooms were all looking very clean and fresh.

The room was clean and comfortable, tHe breakfast was great value for money.

Staff were friendly, rooms were large and clean.

We had one of the new refurbished rooms on the fifth floor which was nice and clean.
