  5 star the Novotel 4* was a great choice providing pool facilities which we wanted as this was a winter visit. Great city and this hotel was a pefect location for the trams/underground. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly and efficient. Never tried an evening meal as we ate out and the well reported-on mexican Restaurant across the road was perfect for the first night although very smoky!

  And, if we can't fulfill this guarantee, your room is on us! There was dust and long black hairs in the bathroom and shower stall. Depsite leaving the towels on the floor - (we walked on them), they were hung up to be reused when the room was made up and the glasses we'd used were exactly where we'd left them on the desk. The room quality even clean, does not live up to the expense of the room rate. To make up for this, months later, we were offered a voucher for Weekend complimentary stay (double room incl.
