The drive to Exmouth was a long one considering we had set off from Monkey Mia, the hotel was very impressive and price were all good.
Has large swimming areas and great quality hotel.
Great food and a stunning location overlooking the pool.
The sunset were stunning and having this sort of luxury in this remote of a location can't be beat!
Coral Bay ,which we visited, is a better tourist location for easy accessibility to the beaches and reef.
The resort is definatley too far from town, no transport provided , you have to get a taxi which is quite inconvenient.
Flights from Perth direct to Exmouth landing in a tiny airport and the hotel itself is very modern.
Half an hour later(we are still in our twin room) the general manager rudely rings the room telling me there is not any standard double or king size bed anywhere at the resort all beds are zipped together to make one.
There's some nice landscaping planting in the hotel's grounds, some of the ladies on the front desk were absolutely fantastic and the king bed in our room was firm very comfortable.
We travelled to Exmouth by car with some friends and booked 2 apartments, one 2-bedroom apartment with kitchenette and one one-bedroom apartment.
We had a group of 11 people with us with separate rooms so I also saw a 2 bedroom apartment which was also beautiful and had a self contained kitchen too.
Checked in late about 7pm had specifically booked a room with a king size bed and been given one with two singles.
The bar fridge is handy but no nibblies, soft drink or anything else there to munch on, other than your meals, that you can have in your room or the restaurant.
But the pool is lit up by TERRIBLE flood lights at night (more appropriate for a stadium) which kills a lot of the outdoor ambience, as the bar & restaurant look out over the pool.
This is an absolute gem of a hotel in our North-West of Australia the lobby,bar,restaurant and rooms are stunning and a credit to the town of Exmouth and Ningaloo.
The reception staff need to smile more and be more friendly, the restaurant/bar staff have a bit more personality.
We ate in the hotel restaurant twice for dinner and once for lunch.
However one morning the manager was reprimanding a staff member in the reception area which tends to be off putting for guests.
The manager seems to be on the job 24/7, he does everything from room service, reception, running repairs and organising.
The food quality is super and their service to be superb - particularly the 'front desk.
The Staff at Reception were brilliant, everything in the rooms was perfect.
They dont have spa facilities or a shuttle into town but its really a great place to stay.
They also have a gym (no spa / massage treatments) & the bar area is really pleasant.
The food is good and pool are exceptional.
