Overall the service was good and the hotel was certainly good value.

Good location - quick shuttle service from airport, hotel is conveniently located for the A1 and breakfast is also very nice.

Regards location, it is located about a 15-20 minute drive from the city centre depending on the traffic.

I booked an over night stay at Novotel Newcastle, as a stop over, the location is great very close to the airport and the main transport links.

There is a metro station 5/10 mins walk away which will take you to the centre of Newcastle or airport directly.

We had been advised that the hotel was only 5 minutes drive from the airport and booked the transfer time accordingly - unfortunately, the taxi was 20 minutes late.

Big double bed, fitness facilities are adequate and liked the separate toilet.

Room was OK, however bed linen which looked clean was littered with hairs (eugh!

There is a pleasant bar and a reasonably priced restaurant with a limited but interesting menu.

Common areas was very dirty looking lots of spill patches, the Hotel felt very warm & comfortable - staff attentive and service was better this time both from reception.

Nice atmosphere, great price and excellent service from your staff there.

    The pool & sauna'the friendly staff & the courtesy bus from airport & bus drivers gave good info and was worried regarding I would be comfortable in a hotel bed. Moreover courteous service from everyone we had dealings, bathroom was excellent and the evening meal I had was reasonable.
