Novotel Ipswich Centre - 伊普斯威奇

In the perfect location close to the marina and the hotel is situated in a good spot being not far from the town centre.

Great location for town, located very near to train station and handy car park.

Excellent location - very clean and modern, the hotel was close to some lovely restaurants.

Good bath and shower, the toilet was in a separate room from the bathroom, which was a good idea.

The room was clean, modern and large, with a large comfortable bed, working desk and a 2 seater sofa.

The bathroom is a novel design, with sliding doors opening out onto the bedroom, while the toilet is separate and by the entrance - but the moulded plastic fittings and sink, and generic Accor toiletries, don't impress.

Room was clean and had a comfortable double bed, and a sofa bed.

The list is even longer and we didn't take any meals/breakfast as it was obviousely allowed to smoke cigarillos in the lounge which is just beside the restaurant area.

To the left there is a bar and restaurant area.

Also, a local tip: I've been told that the restaurants around the corner in St Peter's Street, particularly the Ghandi Indian Restaurant, are excellent.

We didn't have dinner in the hotel in the evening as we ate out, but we opted for room service continental breakfast and were impressed by both the choices available and the quality of the food.

We ate in the Chinese restaurant across the road which was above average and mercifully free of excessive MSG.

Car parking might be a problem (I don't know if you can pre-book a space), but there are other parking options nearby.
