Excellent location , would be even better in the summer.

If arriving via Goteberg City Airport treat yourself to a taxi(320kr) to hotel You will be checking in while the rest of the flight are just getting on the airport bus!

It is only 10 mins from the city airport by taxi.

The rooms are fairly large, very clean and the beds are very comfy with lots of storage.

Rooms ok , we had on older one facing out the back - so no great view like if you have a river facing room.

Room was a pretty standard double but recently renovated, with a great view of the water.

The hotel offers free parking and rooms are very good size.

I know Carlsberg are Danish, but the Swedes have it on this one, From the well maintained rooms, to the quiet bar/restaurant, with excellent food this hotel is top notch.

The view from the breakfast dining room over the harbour is great and the hotel restaurant is also fine.

Spacious and comfortable room, good breakfast in a quite attractive restaurant.

Both the bar and the restaurant provide fine panoramas out over the river and many a pleasant hour can be spent with a glass of wine or three watching the Stena car and freight ferries navigating gingerly up the river.
