Novotel Glasgow Centre - 格拉斯哥

Plenty of places to eat nearby - ignore some of the other reviews questionning the location and choice of food available.

On the positive side is the location of the hotel, close to the start of the main shopping street and not far from the train stations.

Great location just off Sauchiehall Street so ideal for shopping/nightlife.

Hotel is in a good location - turn left out of the Hotel and head to Sauchiehall Street where you will find a number of restaurants and bars (student bars) - also there is a taxi rank outside and taxis are never more than five minutes away.

If you need to go any further the train station (Charing Cross)is only 5 mins walk away, or the staff will order you a taxi which will arrive pretty much straight away.

The room was quiet dated and small and the bed was very uncomfertable, not much space for hanging anything up and the TV reception was all fuzzy.

The bathroom had an excellent shower, the bed was extremely comfy and the sofa was an added plus.

We had requested a twin room and the room had a double bed and pull out sofa bed which had already been made up for us.

Separate toilet and bathroom, large bath, powerful shower, again all spotless and modern.

Would however have appreciated more lighting in the room which only has an entrance light, lamp on desk and fixtures on either side of the bed.

The bar is well stocked and the breakfast is always great.

The bar was perhaps a little bit pricey the rate I paid for BB for my wife and the buffet breakfast was good.

Nice bar/restaurant area and very good value.

Good location, a lovely italian restaurant - paperino's - the hotel bar was quiet and staff were pleasant and courteous.

Bar staff were cheerful and efficient, breakfasts were good too.

Clean and fairly spacious accomodation in the city, the hotel staff were very efficient, the service was friendly.

Despite being inundated with rowdy football fans -- there was a big match on Saturday -- both the reception and bar staff were cheerful and efficient.

The service was great, the staff are polite and always happy to help, they provided us with a map on check in.

The staff were great and the reception upgraded us for free because the room was ready.

The gym upstairs is a nice touch allbeit small and the sauna is useful to the likes of me who spent a lot of time there.

The hotel bar and lobby was also very nice - tastful decor and a pool table/sky tv for those interested.

Dinners were very nice also, pool table were of an excellent standard.

The staff are beyond friendly and helpful, rooms are also clean and comfortable, the breakfast choice is great.

Room was clean, tidy and very comfortable.

Easy reach of shops etc and the hotel very clean as are the rooms.

Staff are friendly and clean and the rooms are spacious.

Room was exceptionally clean, printer was so useful for preparing our boarding cards and the best facility was the late breakfast.
