Novotel Brisbane - 布里斯班

Overall it is a decent place to stay, however if you have any disablilities then you might find the location a bit difficult as it is situated at the top of a large hill.

The location is excellent and the hotel is conveniently located near the train station.

The hotel's location was convenient except that it is situated on a steep hill.

Took Airtrain from Brisbane International to Central Station- hotel is less than 5 minutes walk from train station.

30 mins train to the city center and thank god, Novotel is right next to the station.

I know a male had had the room previously as the toilet was dirty when the plastic seat was lifted and the hair follicles and (including a couple of finger nail clippings) from the previous 20 guests were behind the bed.

What was not fine was that my bath was full of hair, there was hair on the bathroom floor and guess what was in my bed when i pulled down the covers - hair.

Room and bathroom were large and very clean and the beds were terrific.

The hotel room was also dusty and dirty and my son had stained sheets on his bed.

The bed was most comfortable as was the lounge which makes a nice change to be able to sit on a lounge rather than perch on the bed while watching TV or just sitting and talking.

We ate out every night (Queen St - 15 minutes walk) so can not comment on the restaurant but the bar area was pleasant and the bar staff friendly and helpful.

Breakfast in the Cilantro restaurant was not up to a 4 star hotel standard, more around a 3 star.

Restaurant quite busy and the bar staff great fun making signature cocktails!

The hotel has a restaurant that was packed for both tea (saw on way out) and good buffet breakfast in the morning.

The restaurant staff at breakfast were all aged approx 18 -20 years and appeared more interested in chatting to each other than greeting customers - tables took ages to be cleared.

That said it had a nice feel to it,with clean large rooms, and friendly service and staff.

Internet access is available for free in the lobby, the staff didn't seem able to cope and the check-in reception is quite efficient and fast.

The only positive was a staff reception member called Bridie who was very helpful changing travellers cheques for me from her reception till.

I tested the front desk with advice on external food deliveries, the concierge was faultless.

Bright and spacious lobby, friendly staff, the management also changed the room for us because that day was no housekeeping at our room.

Excellent gym and outdoor pool although pool not heated so prepare to be cold!

Parking under the hotel and the cental elevator system makes access easy.

The rooms are very modern and were clean and tidy, they have all the usual fittings.

Free internet in the lobby, the staff were all so friendly and bathroom were spotlessly clean.

Staff were lovely, room was clean and i would definately reccommend the buffet brekky as was absolutely amazing.

The staff were truly excellent and bathroom was clean.

The lobby is quite nice, the staff are all very professional and the rooms are clean.
