Hotel Noblesse Lucca - 卢卡

Excellent location in the historic part of the city, the hotel used to be the private home of the owners and the rooms are very stylish and clean.

The location was fantastic - right in the heart of the old town, our room decor was beautiful and the staff was very nice.

Best of all was that despite its central location it was very quiet.

It took us a long time to get there from the Pisa airport.

We had a great 2 room suite with 2 bathrooms although no bath in either.

We stayed in a junior suite which had all the mod cons that you would expect of a five star hotel; Air Conditioning, Flat Screen TV, Sound Sytem, Broadband Access, Hydrotherapy Baths, Gorgeous Leather Furniture etc etc.

If you go back far enough on all of them there are serious flaws like mosquitoes in the room, rubber pads on the bed, surly staff, strip mall location, a/c didn't work etc etc.

I loved the historic style of this hotel, great service and the bed was huge.

Bed linens were good, the restaurant was excellent - a fabulous choice of local wines.

Super bar, excellent restaurant and terrific ambience.

Food was good and served in an enclosed courtyard although getting a cooked breakfast was a bit of a struggle as the waiter seemed to double as the short order cook!

We had breakfast each morning on the covered patio decking and felt closseted in our own little luxurious world catching the occassional glimpse of Lucca life drifting past the hotel gates.

The restaurant was excellent - a fabulous choice of local wines.

The breakfast waiter was excellent and accommodating.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful and we were very well looked after and service at breakfast was second to none.

There was one sourpuss at the front desk- a young man who made a sour face at everyone- other staff, his superiors etc and he was a pain.

Staff at the restaurant aren't trained,(unlike the hotel staff), and don't have a clue--Service for evening meal is terrible.

Well restored buildings, at a reasonable price and staff were all very friendly and helpful.

Excellent situation, the hotel is located on a quiet little square and all services are fantastic.

It is newly opened which means everything is lovely, fresh and clean and the staff are full of enthusiasm - nothing was too much trouble.

If you don't have a terrace not to worry as the outside seating area is really attractive.

Rooms and hotel were immaculate having recently been totally renovated and everywhere clean and tastefully furnished.

The hotel itself is excellent--hotel staff (Veronica and Sarat especially) were very helpful, rooms were a good size with all amenities and very clean.
