The hotel is located near the A10 motorway. From Schipol Airport:
Take the train directly from Schipol Airport to Amsterdam Sloterdijk Station. From there take bus 19 to the hostel at stop 'Plein 40-45'.
From Central Station:
Take bus 21 directly to the hostel at stop 'Plein 40-45'.
From Dam Square:
Take Tram 14, you can get to our hotel easily and directly at the stop 'Plein 40-45'.
From Leidseplein:
The stop for tram 7 is in front of the café called "Heineken Hoek", choose the direction to Slotermeer, it will take you to our hotel directly at the stop 'Plein 40-45'.

Anyway, the area was not dangerous at all as some have reviewers here have stated and this hotel was clean and comfortable, cheap and cheerful. The staff were very friendly and helpful, bathroom was new. The breakfast was superb.

Good tram, pretty cheap and easily connected to Amsterdam centre, the hotel staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The room itself was fantastic and breakfast was reasonable.

Bar on site was great value 4 euros for a jack daniels and coke, first, the hotel staff were helpful, room and bathroom were not too dirty. The breakfasts provided were also more than adequate.

Good services in the commercial center opposite the hotel and the free Internet. Just chucked the towels, food horrible as well.

Bad area and a little bit noisy from the street at early morning. Its not worth your hard earned money and very unhelpful staff.
