I always stay at this hotel because it has everything I need: Wi-Fi, luggage storage, 24-hour reception, bar, laundry, flat-screen TV. The staff even helped me with currency exchange recommendations. Perfect for my city break.

This is a very excellent hotel with a staff that take very good care of hotel guests. The 4 stars is very well deserved, and I believe that the hotel would deserve 5 stars. A special feature is the quiet location close to the city-lake and the nearness to the Altstadt and to shopping areas.

Central location, really pleasant obliging staff and quiet well appointed spacious room. No breakfast taken but evening meal taken both nights excellent quality, convivial atmosphere and good value. Booked parking is absolutely essential. Free wifi. One of the nicest hotels we have ever stayed in!

The retro bathroom was not easy to use. If one of the 29 channels on the TV had been in English that would have been nice. Tea making facilities in the room would have been nice. However on the last morning we had tea delivered to our room for 3 euros in total.

A quietly efficient, comfortable and confident hotel. Excellent restaurant, and buffet breakfast.

The hotel was well-located, close to the city center and offered beautiful views of the lake and skyline. The library was a cozy and stylish place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. The staff provided excellent service and were friendly, making us feel welcome during our stay.

The noise levels throughout the night were quite high, making it difficult for us light sleepers to rest properly.

This hotel exceeded my expectations in many ways. The location is ideal, as it is situated near everything, including a beautiful lake. The hotel facilities are clean and impressive, and I was able to park easily. The transportation system nearby made it easy to explore all that the city has to offer. Additionally, the staff is incredibly accommodating. They provided an excellent breakfast each morning that was a perfect start to my day.

Beautiful hotel with breathtaking views of the lake and town skyline especially during dusk and dawn! Hotel itself has an air of historical grandeur from the lobby to the rooms.

Cleaniless of the toilets - Possibly because it is a old hotel, toilet tiles were stained.

We absolutely loved the location of this place! It is situated right next to a large lake and is within easy walking distance of the downtown area. The views of the lake were stunning and made our stay even more enjoyable.

We highly recommend this hotel for a family getaway.

The decoration in the rooms and throughout hotel was a traditional design which I really liked. The location was excellent for exploring Schwerin and the surrounding area. The secure car park was great. The staff were always friendly and helpful at reception and in the restaurant. The meals in the restaurant were a high standard.

There was a little confusion when we booked in as I had booked a room with two beds (for me and my son) but we were give one double bed. When I told the reception that I needed two beds, we were given a family room.

The hotel's location, lake view, tastefully furnished rooms, excellent food, low prices, delightful desserts.

The beds were comfy and the room had plenty of space. The hotel is located close to a nice lake and some shops and restaurants. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The breakfast wasn't worth the extra money. There weren't enough options and the quality wasn't great.
