NH Hotel Pontevecchio Lecco

In addition transport from Bergamo Airport was very easy and the hotel was situated in a good location.

The location was decent, located about 3 minutes away from the train station & being tourists, the cab driver charged us 12E for literally, a 1 minute ride.

The NH Pontevecchio is in a great location--on the river and an excellent hotel for a short weekend break in Lecco or as a base for surrounding lake area.

It is only 30km (about one hour) from Bergamo airport, and is an easy drive from all the local tourist hot spots.

Transport to other areas on Lake Como and nice business-like 4-star hotel the way you expect to be.

This hotel received great reviews, good Service and we reported bedbugs in the extra bed in the room.

Had to have 2 room changes due to 1, a completeley broken toilet seat, and 2, given smoking rooms when we had requested non smoking!

Additionally bed we SO comfy, good breakfast.

The rooms, hallways, and bathrooms are even larger than standard American hotels.

The floors were wooden, bed we SO comfy, extra pillows handy, and plenty of accessories.

The restaurant was fabulous with very good food.

Around the corner is a small restaurant/coffee shop which was fantastic.

We have also eaten in the restaurant a couple of times and the quality is reasonable and is quite good value at 22 euro for two courses and coffee.

The restaurant was on the ground floor and we ate in one night - 2 courses for €22 including coffee.

The staff is very friendly and accommodating, breakfast is very good.

The location was perfect for walking in the town center, the hotel staff was great and the front desk service was warm and friendly.

Good shops, great hotel and reception staff were efficient and friendly.

The view from our room on the first floor facing the river was amazing in the morning, the hotel staff were friendly and helpful, the service was excellent.

Car parking in the outside car park was adequate during our stay, but I'm sure would be full in busy periods.

If you are driving to the hotel parking can be a problem.

Parking in the covered lot a block away is 15 Euros per night.

The room was clean, the food was nicely cooked.

Stayed here for three days, hotel is well appointed, rooms are a good size, clean and secure.

Clean and comfortable rooms, extra pillows handy.

Wide corridors and wooden flooring in the rooms added a contemporary touch, and the whole place was spotlessly clean.

Additionally the room was clean, breakfast was brilliant.
