Good location, value for money, room was comfortable
Facilities need maintenance, carpets in eating area need replacing, parking is very far from rooms, breakfast was fair

The location was good. The layout also very nice and makes you feel like you are in a holiday resort away from the city.
Restaurant/Breakfast facilities can be improved to meet the rest of the standards of the hotel. It just seemed a bit lower in standard.

The friendly helpful staff
Advised by recetionist that drink driving was not a problem. Just bribe the police if caught!! Not good enough

Overall hotel cleanliness left something to be desired - e.g. carpets/soft furnishings needed a good clean.

Private and quiet atmosphere. Spacious rooms with baggage area. Spacious balcony. Comfortable couch and bed(s).
Entrance gate staff not friendly. No reception desk - instead there is a separate room with only one person who can attend to official matters - when that person is busy, you could wait for a long while. No parking allowed close to room. Breakfast area food layout is cramped and congested. Warm food must be ordered and service is slow. Condiments, cutlery and crockery inadequate.

What got me really upset is to find twin beds in our room though we are a couple.

Value for money.Nice quiet location only 3 minutes from centre of Plettenberg Bay
Torn and dirty curtains. Hotel advertises cocktails by pool but they could make only one kind as had no ingredients to make any others. Same breakfast every day.

Extremely efficient and friendly staff. Very convenient for the beach and town. Nice casual atmosphere which is good when travelling with children.
The car park is a long way from the hotel - it would be nice to park closer to the room so that carrying bags, etc would be a lot easier.

Strange parking arrangement --- any chnace of shuttles to the car park?? Closer to the N2 then it appears...
