Morning breakfast was all right and the overall value of the hotel more than above average - I definitely recommend it, especially given the very average state of accommodation in Genova, and I would definitely return.

Up till now we've stayed in cheap hotels near the station - plenty of character but sometimes a bit dowdy.
Rooms are tiny, especially if you request an extra bed for a child, but still quite expensive for Genoan standards.
No bathroom issues (shower in the bath) - and room/b'room size ok; pre-packed plastic cups for tea/coffee hygenic, but a bit lacking in quality.
Very nice hotel, friendly staff and our superior en-suite room on the 4th floor was very clean.
Staff was very helpfull, the bed was big enough to sleep and the food that came up was amazing.
We were there on a bed and breakfast arrangement.
The Restaurant is comfortable with some good local dishes such as 18 month old air dried parma ham and pastas - make sure you sample the Pesto in Genoa - it's incredible!
The breakfast was varied, the menu was delicious.

The place is totally unmanned, so you have to find your way before even getting close to the reception desk.
Although this bizarre pricing mechanism is fully described in the regulations of the place, you can’t charge twice for the same service.
User-unfriendly ramps and very small parking places.
The view very pleasant, the Hotel is well located and lobby areas look really good at night.
A few additional details are that, the parking is very convenient but it's 20E a night, which is similar to what you'll find elsewhere in Genova.
