  The pool is beautiful and there are always plenty of chairs. The bar staff is always nice and very helpful, they are willing and ready to take your next order. The staff behind the reception counter is always polite, professional, and check-in is usually quick and painless. I don't usually eat at the hotel as there are so many great restaurants outside of the hotel grounds to eat at. You can take a taxi downtown for $6(us), or take the bus for 50 pesos. The taxi will pick you up at the lobby, and the bus picks you up in front of the hotel.

  After a half hour in line we were told they couldn't give us the room we reserved because they overbooked. We had to stay one night at the towers then move out by 11:00 the next day but couldn't check into the next room until after 3 pm. They took our luggage to a new room but couldn't provide a key so we had no access to our things! He talked to management and a coupon for dinner was delivered to our room. Bogarts has exceptional food and service.

  When I asked to speak to the manager she was rude and said they would compensate us with a meal at Bogarts on Sat or Sun; a coupon would be sent to our room. We talked to our Apple rep and told him we wouldn't return to a place with poor service that lies to its customers.

  Upon arrival, they had reservations for two of the three couples. We also ordered off the menu a number of times and I would say the food was okay, nothing spectacular. The floors were very dirty and not due to the cleaning staff.

  We booked and paid for this trip 5 months prior including a $200/each to upgrade to the villa suites in order to stay together as a group. They did not have a reservations for my husband and I and we were shuffled around for two days while they located a room.

  Good location to access marinas, staff friendly.

  Cleanliness and food.

  I would not recommend all-inclusive, get your meals elsewhere
  
  Check in after midnight, and you have to buy a bottle of water. Hotel desk would not give one even though I was all-inclusive.
  
  The beds are as hard as rocks - had to get extra pillows and sleep on them-not very comfortable
  
  The drain in the bathroom floor by the toilet sometimes backed up

  The rooms were nice, not fancy, but perfect for kids. We stayed in the older Jr suite hotel rooms, not the condos. And they were about the size of two standard rooms in one, which was perfect with kids. A pool that was right by the beach, and then a warm pool, with a slide and swallow area for the kids, and a queiter pool for adults. The food was really good, but really expensive and the don't take visa. The food was good for the most part, but seemed somewhat over priced. WE did go off the grounds to eat and it was good, we ate at a few of the other hotel resturants as well.

  Yes there were some minor things in the rooms that needed to be replaced or fixed but they were minor and easily ignored. A guest had the nerve to yell at one of the pool staff for giving her the incorrect time for sun set. I found that if I treated the pool and restaurant staff with respect and was clear about what I needed I received great service with a smile. The grounds and pools are beautiful and the food and service was great. The only negative part of the stay there was dealing with the front desk staff. They were slow slow slow and not very friendly. If I had any questions I went to the information desk at the entrance of the hotel. The staff to look for are Rosie at the information counter and Gabriella one the cleaning staff.

  We stayed in the new beach towel an oceanview room. Nice cool air conditioning, marble floors, plenty of room. We really enjoyed the hot tubs located at the end of the beach tower, because it was never crowded. As for the service in the hotel which seemed to be the biggest issue. At first we were taken aback, the waiters are friendly enough, very slow and never come to the table except first when they seat you and ask what you would like to drink.

  The water as previously complained in an earlier review as not hot enough, seemed to vary in temperature, as we went there every night.

  Had a nice walk in closet which you can also use as a dressing room,2 couches-some of the sites I read said they had pull out beds but that was not the case in my room. The other thing we didn't like was the food at the buffet place by the pool-breakfast was good but expensive$15.

  We stayed in a junior suite and had no major problems. The beds are somewhat hard but I didn't mind them nor my husband and he has a bad back.

  The grounds are beautiful and the staff is very helpful and courteous. All the rooms I have seen over the years were spacious and clean. In fact, friends of mine were assigned a room on the second floor. Checking in or out is no problem unless it is late and they have less staff on or if there is a crowd coming in at one time, but I just recently visited another hotel in Cabo and waited in a long line checking in there too. The grocery store sells WATER as well as a limited supply of wine, liquor, beer, milk, bread etc. They have the water in all size containers to take back to your room. You can take a taxi if you want (very reasonable). I have to admit I do not eat dinner often at the resort, mainly breakfast which is good. Puerto Vallarta has so many excellent restaurants, some expensive, some very reasonable that I don't know why anyone would like to tie themselves down to eating only at the resort. It is part of the experience of going to Puerto Vallarta eating at their excellent restaurants with a fabulous view of the sunsets.

  I did not even turn the TV on until 3 days into my stay and informed them of this. The desk clerk and the manager on duty insisted that the charge could not be removed from the computer billing system. Two Emails to the address they had given me, plus one to the reservations Email went unanswered. I don't know if this is a rip-off scheme or an honest mistake but I would not reccommend staying at this hotel since customer service is nonexistant.
