Nh Krystal Cancun

As everyone else has commented, this hotel is situated in an excellent location.

But if you are looking for a comfortable environment, clean room, the BEST location in Cancun for proximity to bars, clubs, and restaurants, and a fantastic pool area, then stay at the Krystal.

The location of the hotel is fantastic close to night life , shoping, restraunts,and bus service.

Most of the other hotels you have to catch a taxi or a bus.

It was actually 3 hotel rooms interconnected with 3 double beds and a king size bed, 3 full bathrooms, small kitchen and table and chairs and every room faced the beautiful ocean.

Room needs help, old furniture, bathrooms old, tub drained slow, fixtures rusty, A/C blows directly on the bed, only accept ocean view room do not take anything else.

Each room contained one bed and bath with one of the rooms also having a mini kitchen with sink, microwave, and refrigerator.

The bed was made and room & bathroom cleaned every time we went back into he room.

When we finally did get into the correct room after several hours at the pool, we were horrified to find dirty sheets on both beds, stained comforters and the most uncomfortable bed we've ever slept on.

There was an average of 4 to 5 warming trays with food options, a salad/fruit bar that was very small and some sort of prepared to order station (omelets for breakfast/pasta for dinner etc).

We ate lunch in the restaurant and although not the best lunch the food was fine.

We ate at the poolside bars which had enough choices for a lunchtime meal, but we did not try the restaurant as we like to eat out in the evenings.

The lobby/bar/restaurants were always clean.

We decided against all inclusive because we planned to venture off the resort a good deal of the time and we are very glad of that decision since there wasn't much selection of cuisine and the bar was absolutely dead in the evenings.

The staff was very friendly and attentive except for one gal at the front desk who seemed determined to be the bad-apple of the group.

Front desk staff not knowledgeable, friendly or helpful, I thought I was in France.

We had good service from the pool bar and the front desk.

We traveled with my 6 month old son and people seemed to come out of the woodwork to help lift the stroller up the stairs (until we found the side door that led to a ramp and elevator).

The lobby is so pretty with all marble and the elevators are very quick.

The views from the pool and jacuzzi were just breathtaking, you could sit and look out there all day!

The internet runs about 30k-50k speedwise so it's decent early in the morning and later in the afternoon but slow wireless otherwise.

We had no problems at all, the minute we walked in to the hotel it was nice, clean and got helped immediately we checked in to our rooms in about 5 minutes, the same when we checked out.

ROOMS: musty smell, some bugs (put a towl under door), and the bedsheets werent clean.

Our rooms were well appointed and kept clean by the staff.

The pool is right on the beach and the rooms were basic but clean and it was generally well worth the money, considering you're not paying millions!

The room was clean and nice, and the lobby was nice also, however the hallways were thrashed.
