Nh Grand Hotel Krasnapolsky Amsterdam - 阿姆斯特丹

It is located right on Dam square which is such a brilliant location to explore the city.

The location is excellent and landmark Amsterdam hotel located right in the centre by the Dam square.

The only credible comment i can make about this hotel is that the location is fantastic, situated in the heart of Amsterdam - Dam Square.

There were no taxi's in town due to a conference but we could scurry ourselves to the station thank goodness!

The tram stop was in front of Dam Square and there were always taxis queued in front.

The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was great with a bathtub and a separate shower room.

The apartment was big - 2 bedrooms, dining room, living room, kitchen, toilet and bath complete with washing machine and drier!

We stayed in a business room, which was nice, had a large bathroom and king size bed, but the second morning we were woken up by construction noise.

I was disappointed with the room, which was ok in size, had a big balcony, good bathroom and comfy bed, but no better than average.

Service at front desk was very friendly and efficient, but unfortunately was not in bars and restaurants (breakfast buffet in main restaurant was very impressive, but had to "beg" for coffee).

The Winter Garden room where breakfast was served had one of the best buffets we have eaten and the main restaurant, the Reflet, where we ate on the first night, was excellent.

We didn't eat in the famous restaurant, but did enjoy the bar where I actually had a glass of good chardonney, something that was hard to get in Holland.

The Reflet restaurant is comparable to top London restaurants and cheaper.

Staff in the bar/restaurants/cafe etc were always courteous and understanding.

Certainly not 5 star service, with reception staff quite rude and the term concierge is being applied quite liberally here.

The location of the hotel is very good, the levels of service are excellent and the reception staff also are very friendly especially the asian one.

A formally-dressed doorman at the hotel assisted the shuttle driver with getting it into the hotel lobby, and a porter loaded it onto a cart and wheeled it out to our unit off the alley and carried it up.

On arrival and departure we received no assistance with our luggage, we had to cart our suitcases through the lobby, down a long corridore and locate the lift by the entrance of the car park!

Shame it doesn't have an indoor pool though.

I didn't like the idea that we had to pay extra to gain wireless internet access, but the business center was made available to us - so we used their computers to email back and forth to the states.

Wireless Internet access was available using the same system as in the hotel, which is wildly expensive (EUR22 for 24-hours).

As to cleanliness, the entire apartment was squeaky clean.

The room itself was clean modern and had everything you could need.

The room and the rest of the hotel were clean and the staff extremely courteous, friendly and helpful.

Our recent room was very clean, the breakfast was very good indeed.

Our rooms were spotless and the staff were always helpful and curteous.
