NH Hotel Excelsior Sienna - 锡耶纳

Well located and location of the hotel was perfect.

Excellent location close to heart of Siena and have a nice design.

The location is very good being close to the city center, being part of the NH chain means you can expect a consistent standard of quality.

Because I'd been in Siena before and found it a bit of a maze, we took a taxi to the hotel from the train station.

However it was a bit noisey early in the morning due to the bus station across the road.

For those of you who have never seen these, they are little long brown bugs on the beds that will prick while you sleep and inject stuff into your body and you will see little blood stains onthe bed the next morning.

The rooms have been redone and the bathrooms are of marble with Grohe fixtures.

Furthermore a helpful English speaking staff and comfortable bed.

Stayed in a recently renovated room which was well appointed, a good size with good bathroom/shower.

Room and bathroom very clean, quiet, with excellent amentities.

The hotel dining room and bar were lovely, and almost empty, but the food was very good -- we ate there on our first night, and had breakfast both mornings.

Breakfast very good, hot as well as cold food items.

Must recommed a restaurant we ate at, located in the walkway to the Il Campo, with tables on the steps.

The breakfast was a good continental breakfast although the breakfast room is mainly one long counter to eat at.

We stopped to eat, hoping he would leave, but he stayed outside the restaurant and followed us once we left.

The interior design was gorgeous, staff were courteous and competent, all employees at front office were helpful.

The Jolly offers an excellent service for its price, and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

Nice view of city, excellent value and the staff was very efficient and friendly.

Francesca at the front desk was fantastic, although her co-worker, was quite possibly the snootiest man I've ever dealt with.

The only drawback is the rather high parking rates which are about 36 Euros daily.

Location was perfect, we were so ready for a nice place and internet in the lobby was free and fast.

Or locate parking yourself in a lot that costs 1,60 Euro an hour and could be quite a far walking distance away.

The hotel is modern, free WiFi in the lobby is very convenient and the rooms are very clean.

The room was well equipped, clean and more than big enough.

The room was clean and we had a nice view.

The rooms are smallish, as you would expect in a medieval city where space is at a premium, but clean and neat.
