NH Hotel Ambasciatori Turin - 都灵

The location for us was ideal, the off street secure parking was a bonus and the best place to get a somehow functional signal was sitting on the toilet.

In general, whilst the location may not appear as convenient as some others, this fact does allow for cheaper room rates.

The Jolly Ligure in my opinion has a better location as it is right across from the station.

A lot of hotels are situated on this road especially near Porta Nuova station (where the airport bus stops), but this one is not.

Anyway this hotel is about a mile or so from the station, which can make for a nice walk if you are in the mood, or a 5 minute taxi ride if you are not.

The room was good with a good bed, firm but not too hard, Just Right, as Goldilocks said.

Arrived at the lovely reception to be told they didn't have a triple room for us, instead they gave us 2 fab adjoining rooms, each with 2 queen size beds - so amongst 3 of us we had 4 beds.

Very clean, usual type of bed linen and clean modern bathroom.

The room was very inviting and the bathroom beautiful and clean.

One thing though forget about your privacy during the day as the rooms becomes central station with people coming in and out of your room several time a day.

The restaurant serves a good breakfast which is included in the room rate.

Much of the road has a pretty portico running down one side with nice shops, cafe's and restaurants, making any walk along it enjoyable.

Efficient waiting staff, the air conditioning was amongst the most anemic we experienced in Italy and very clean there was plenty of choice for breakfast.

The breakfasts were of a decent standard, although i would recommend getting there earlier rather than later in order to make the most of it.

Why do I make a point of mentioning the breakfast coffee?

The hotel service was very good and staff were helpful.

The hotel staff at the reception was amongst the rudest, antagonistic and unhelpful people we've meet in our trip.

Even with two do not disturbed signs (one on the door and the high tech one on the wall next to the door) we had people (supervising staff, plumber, maid) barging in the middle of the afternoon).

Upon asking for a taxi at the reception desk to go to a meeting that night (the strike started 45 minutes before), the employee tells me without explanation that there is NO TAXI.

On arrival I had big problems with the receptionist beacuse he didn't accepted the price quoted in Booked.net.

The staff were on the whole polite and helpful.

There is wireless throughout the hotel for an additional fee.

Clean and comfortable staff, the room was spacious, good selection offered for breakfast.

Competent staff, clean modern bathroom and secure parking good breakfast buffet.

The general decor of the hotel has a very clean feel to it with the bedrooms being well presented.

Didn't expect at that price, the rooms are clean.

Free lobby WiFi, not too far from places of interest - you enjoy long leisurely walks and the rooms are clean.
