The location was great for what my husaband and I .had planned

The bathroom was too samll for the price; only one person could be in there at one time.

        Easy access to French Quarter.

Room was way below Marriott standards. Upon check in, found mold in bathroom (shower corners, tub grout lines filled with black mold), holes in the thread-bare sheets, hairs on toilet seat and bath sink. (Gag!) Contacted front desk, "Sorry, sold out, can't do anything tonight". They sent a young night manager to supervise changing of the bed sheets. He apologised and indicated mold was a recurring problem and they were hiring an outside company to take care of it. Nice guy...too bad he works in such a crummy hotel. I usually am pleased with Marriott's quality. Not this one.

        Great location, quality hotel.

Why do they still not make it easy to find somewhere to plug in the coffee machine?!

The housekeeping staff was wonderful in providing us with the additional coffee requested. We appreciate that. 3 packs is not enough for coffee drinkers.

We had no refrigerator in our room which we sorely needed. Our daughter's room had a refrigerator but no over drapes against the windows - only sheers. I had requested (1) king size room and (1) double bed room - only king size available. Not too terribly excited about the price of valet parking - seems to be a bit over the top in this day and age.

Very nice hotel and friendly staff..

My husband and I were very upset about the parking situation.. There was no parking available for our oversized vehicle when we checked in.. My husband had to park at an offsite location which was several blocks away from the hotel.. This was the only unpleasant part of our stay. More than likely we won't stay here next time..

all was good-though parking a little high-did not understand why we had to pay tax on the parking

The river view was very nice. It is in easy walking distance to restaurants and other sites. The bell staff were really nice and very helpful

First they had trouble finding my reservation. The room was very small and the bathroom was tiny. Overpriced in my opinion

The rooms have a nice view of the Mississippi river, and it's located close to the French Quarter.

The Marriott is a very average, overpriced, anonymous Business Hotel. There's nothing really wrong with it, but I begin to dislike this type of Hotel very strongly. The room rates are ridiculously high, and they charge you for any additional service.

        The location was great.

Need more towels per room. Room wasn't as clean as expected. No instructions for coffee making without a carafe. No complimentary coffee in the lobby-- just Starbucks, which is strong coffee.

Location was central to our activities and we have stayed there many times prior.

The duvet cover would not stay on the comforter. It made for a few nights of fighting over the sheets.

I like the fact that it was close to many businesses, to shops, dine, and go play at the casino, and the view of the city from my room was breathtaking. The housekeeper on floor 27 was very helpful, friendly, understanding, kind and caring. Marriott was there for me to stay while we weather the TS Isaac. I was glad they had lights on, because half of the city was out.

Parking attendant supervisor, made it a disaster.I parked my car in hopes that it would be safe, since I was paying for it. The next day we came down to go out to inspect any damages to our property. I noticed I had 2 large scratches on the front bumper, as if it was scrapped by another car. I brought it to their attention. They stated on derveral occasions that they were not held responsible. I thought once my car was being stored in their area, valet, which I found strange on the 1st night we had to park ourselves. What was the purpose of valet? I am still in the process of trying to get this damage repaired through my own insurance company. Upon departure, we had a nicer supervisor who treated us with kindness, offered us breakfast, and apologize for the troubles. WiFi I would have enjoyed it more if it was in the rooms, some nights I didn't feel up to going downstairs to use it.
