This place was definitely the best value for money hotel I stayed at in the whole of Italy, possibly because Sicily ‘s cheaper than the mainland generally.

So you have to choose whether you want a beach hotel or a city break, or pay for the best of both worlds.

Perfect location and well signposted from town.

The location is superb, the train station is a good 30 minute walk away and the stuff is helpful.

The only downside is that the coast is a bit of a trek from the city centre – you really have to taxi it as public transport doesn’t really exist!

Taxis for tourists in Catania cost 10 euros wherever you go – incredible isn’t it!

The room was very large compared to most European hotel rooms, would be comfortable for an extended stay.

Rooms well furnished but small, quiet air con and good sound insulation.

Very comfortable room, beautiful swimming pool.

Modern four storey hotel, friendly staff and very nice room ambiance.

In addition the cleaniness of the rooms were good and the pool was excellent.

The area around the hotel has a small fairground (although it doesn't open until later at night), there were a few restaurants around it, a late night market selling all sorts of stuff, and a supermarket next door.

Breakfast was included, very hearty (as they usually are in Italian hotels).

It was surprising given that the restaurant was so good.

The restaurant was good with views of Etna.

Front desk staff were courteous and helpful, some spoke English.

Parking our car in the hotel parking was easy, front desk staff were courteous and helpful.

Our room had a nice view overlooking the swimming pool, we were disappointed that the hotel advertised a private beach and reception staff spoke good english.

Sea view was wonderful, a very ordinary hotel made comfortable by some very helpful and the reception staff were excellent.

We wanted somewhere in/close to Catania with a beach/pool.

The hotel was clean, it has a decent sized pool, and it has access to a private 'beach'.

On one day we had to go through the wedding party (in our swimming costumes) to get to the pool.

Sea view was excellent and nothing seemed to much to insure we had an enjoyable stay in Catania. Surprisingly the prices were very reasonable, reception staff were very helpful and our room was a good size.

The 'beach' is a very small landing stage on the lava rocks and sure there is better for that price.

The view were very pleasant, the hotel was clean and tidy, also thanks to the blonde haired girl in reception was extremely helpful. The veiw from our room over the pool was excellent, the restaurant was good.
