Hotel Neptuno Roquetas de Mar - 滨海罗克塔斯

We stayed in a two bedroom apartment on a self catering basis.

The rooms were large and very clean the kitchen area we had in our room was excellent it had a fridge, hot and well stocked with plates and cups etc.

Accommodation not bad, room was comfortable and clean, but basic - not what you would expect from a four star hotel, which we were told it was.

Friendly service, the apartment was of an excellent standard and the breakfast was very good all sorts to choose from.

Excellent self catering facilites in the apartments and never ate in the hotel restaurant, chosing to try different restaurants in and around the area.

The resort was lovely and clean and everyone was friendly from locals to holiday makers there is a very nice British bar called M25 which served lovely chicken dishes at lunch too right outside the hotel.

During our stay we ate four times in the hotel restaurant in the evening (we couldn't face it every night) and my partner (who is fussy about food) ended up with pork chops three times!

Breakfasts were good with a number of cereal choices, cakes, hams, cooked food etc.

We arrived at ten in the evening and were told the restaurant was closed and we were not offered an alternative, which was just as well as the food was very poor.

The pool area was great, the service was excellent from the reception staff and room was comfortable and clean.

The service was excellent from the reception staff and dining staff however it was let down by the bar staff who where a bit slow and not very polite.

Reception staff very helpful but restaurant staff miserable - not surprised if they have to eat that food too!

The pool area was great, but had to get up very early in order to get pool side sunbeds!

Travelled with three children and all enjoyed their time in the hotel and were able to amuse themselves very well, the pool and slides being a large bonus to them.

The only disappointment was the kids not being allowed inflatables in the pool [as we had'nt entered the pool section by the main entrance we had'nt seen the signs].

The apartment was of an excellent standard, clean and large.

On arrival the room wasn't ready so we had to wait for 10 mins but when it was it was spotless, and also very spacious and comfortable.

The apartment was very clean and well equipt except for a kettle which isn't a huge drama as we just used a pan instead.
