Neptun Hotel Rica Partner Bergen - 卑爾根

The location in Bergen is just fine, the hotel itself is very central and the lobby seemed elegant in that tacky sort of way.

The bathroom was a good size, but the towels supplied were small and no bath mats were provided for safety in or out of the shower.

We had an ‘outside’ room - I would recommend requesting one of these when you book as the ‘internal’ rooms have no view at all.

We had an inside room (312) decently decorated and comfortably furnished, but with insufficient cupboard/drawer space for a stay of any length.

Room was somewhat stuffy though – to get any air required opening windows which then admitted a fair amount of noise.

Their room was clean and nicely decorated.

We didn’t use the hotel restaurants which comprised an expensive gourmet restaurant and a relatively reasonably priced bistro – there is a huge range of bars, restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance.

We did not try the main restaurant but the coffee shop Pascal and Vin was very good - fresh food well cooked if a little pricey.

I was amazed over the quality and standards of the restaurants, I feel like eating in the best restaurants in the the world, as such place as New York,Paris,Los Angeles or Hongkong.

Breakfast was very good, spoilt only by not enough staff to clear table or replenish the food.

We ate in the cafe bar on our final evening and found wine prices even more excessive than in general in Norway - circa £10 for a glass of wine.

Moreover the reception staff were helpful and the bathroom was huge.

The front desk staff were the nicest people I have ever encountered in my various travels around the world.

Reception staff helpful, our room on the 3rd floor was spacious and the breakfast in the morning was really good.

The first two-night stop was fairly pleasant and reception was very helpful.

A previous Trip Advisor correspondent complained that the lift did not stop at the restaurant on the 2nd floor, but in fact one of the two lifts does – this is very confusing, especially so as there are no signs to advise patrons.

Other guests appeared to have problems relating to lack of a recorded booking in the car park and secondly an apparent attempt to change twice for car parking.

The beds clean and comfortable, good breakfasts.

Their room was clean and breakfast was adequate.
