Stunning views from the balcony, cozy room, and a delightful breakfast spread. The hotel even had a pattisserie attached, tempting my taste buds.
Just wish the rooms were a tad more spacious and the food prices didn't make me feel like I was dining with the royal family.

The hotel is a nice family-run hotel with very friendly staff and an excellent restaurant. The views of the mountains from the back of the hotel/restaurant were breathtaking. The restaurant/tea room has delicious homemade jams/chocolate/bakery items/ice cream.
The bathroom was tiny. The town is not very touristy (which is refreshing), but it doesn't have a huge choice in restaurants (especially that were open on Sunday evening).

We decided to stay in the nearby towns despite the event being in the area. However, this hotel was in a great location to explore Switzerland with a nearby train station and fantastic views of the nearby lakes. The room was small but clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast provided was nice with a range of options to choose from.
We encountered an issue with the noise levels during our stay.

I recently stayed at a hotel in a charming village surrounded by breathtaking hiking trails. The rooms were beautifully designed with a perfect blend of tradition and modern style. The bed was so comfy, it was hard to leave in the morning. And the best part? The balcony provided a marvelous view of the awe-inspiring Alps.
Nothing to complain about, everything was just perfect.

This hotel provides excellent value for money. The room was spacious and spotlessly clean, with truly inviting views of the mountains from the balcony. The location in a quiet area was perfect for a relaxing stay. The breakfast offered a nice variety of options, including delicious pastries and sweets from the in-house patisserie.
All was just perfect.

Accommodating and friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable bedding, hotel is located in a mountain-valley town, the hotel's restaurant charming terrace provides lovely views of the mountains. My family and I ate here for dinner and breakfast and gave the food raving reviews. After almost 4-5 days of traveling around and staying in many hotels this one was a breath of fresh air. It was clean, accessible, had good food, and friendly staff. Excellent value.

Located in a convenient spot, this cozy hotel featured amazing mountain views from their terrace and lounges. The staff turned up the level of hospitality: friendly and very helpful, they suggested activities to do around the area. The rooms had lovely decoration and were very comfortable. The hotel had its own confectionery with delicious sweets I couldn’t resist.
The free breakfast was mediocre, not much to choose from and you had to pay extra for scrambled eggs. The staff mistakenly brought my plate to the wrong table.

This was the 5th visit to the Hotel National in Frutigen for my now 90 year old father. He adores "his" room with a view of the mountains, the care and attention from the staff, the proximity to the railway station and certainly the restaurant and their chocolate shop!
