  The staff is sublimely courteous, friendly, and helpful. The furniture was nice, and the room was very nicely decorated. The restaurant service was very attentive, almost too polite, and efficient. As impressed as we were by the hotel, I must say that we did not find the food to be as spectacular as the rest of the hotel. The front desk recommended a taverna to us (called ‘Bonatsa’), which was super,. The combination of location, room, décor, services, and friendly staff add up to a wonderful package.

  It is a bus ride away from center of town. Getting on a bus may be tough though due to their hourly schedule and high demand by the tourists. The hotel is 3 minute ride by taxi to the center of town however you may find yourself waiting for a cab at least half an hour.

  We had a huge comfortable room in the 900's. It is a far walk to reception but worth it for the large space! This was our best sleep in Greece, quiet with fabulous air condition in the room and a huge hot shower! The breakfast restaurant is gorgeous and the buffet was wonderful. The hotel is a 2 minute walk to a beautiful beach, Plati Gialos, where you can rent chairs and umbrellas and find many restaurants for a great lunch. We also took the water taxis to Paradise and Super Paradise from there and they run right on time. We took the bus many times to and from Hora town and it was easy and perfect. The bus stop is a 5 minute walk from the front of the hotel. The only difficulty is the taxi situation, it is nearly impossible to get one! You easily adapt to using the bus or many people rent ATV's or minibikes.

  My wife and I had a very basic room, balcony had a nice view of the ocean. Mini-bar in the rooms were very expensive so we walked about a block to the mini-market in the beach for our beers (1E each). Strip of restraunts right on the beach with is less than 5min walk and everyone is overly friendly. Staff at the hotel was very friendly, not sure how when you see them at 1am when going to bed and the same people are there to greet you for a 7am breakfast.

  It is an excellent 5* hotel in every way,. Despite the fact that the first room we received wasnt exactly to our satisfaction, it was changed after a couple of hours. The rooms were tastefully designed without being too ostentatious. Each morning beautiful toileteries were put in the bathroom and the rooms were excellently cleaned every day. In the evenings the towels were once again changed and the bed covers turned over. The pool looks clean and nice but we always prefer going to a beach. The staff were all polite, helpful and friendly. The breakfasts were also excellent - variety of cheeses, cerials, yoghurt (delicious), fresh fruit salad, eggs, freshly squeezed orange juice and sometimes smoked salmon,.

  Staff was rude and very unhelpful. We were charged for items we did not purchase in mini bar. Service was poor in restaurant.

  Secondly, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was excellent and local, and we got really drunk on a little bottle of greek wine there. From our room we could see not only the beautiful Agean Sea, but also the windmills, town, and the port.

• The hotel is very clean, as well as the rooms. Service here on all levels is par none - can't say enough great things about all the staff! We had lunch @ the pool bar & it was fabulous. We would definitely recommend that you have dinner at the restaurant Atlantida down by the beach - nice ambience, superior service. A restaurant worth checking out in Mykonos town would be the Sea Satan (we had the grilled beef) - dining right by the sea & under the windmills - amazing!

  We are used to the Greek island standards and did not expect a 5* standard of a NYC hotel, but this was still not what we expected for the money we paid. We had one Deluxe/suite with private pool plus a normal double room for our 16 year old daughter. We were pleased to see that they had taken our request for rooms 'close together' into consideration and our daughter was just 2 rooms away from us. Our rooms were located at the very highest point of the hotel so it was quite a walk to get there from the reception area. Both rooms were very basically furnished, this is to be expected in Greece, but what we didn't like was the sort of classical looking furniture with dark wood, covered in a brown-beige fabric that was really not very freshlooking.

  Our pool was very small, but the terrass between the room and the pool was even smaller (shame) and we found it very cramped for the 3 of us (taking into account that the room we had allowed up to 4 people staying using the sleeping couch, this is a problem). I found it a shame that there was no possibility to have breakfast on the tables outside by the pool - these tables were only for the evening. We were just unlucky I guess that these people partied in their room and not in the many night clubs!
