make sure you stay in the apartment with the hot tub, extra blankets, the master bedroom. it's nice that they offer wake-up service.

The venue has nicely furnished rooms with privacy while sleeping and the master bedroom, as example and helpful and extremely friendly staff. Coffee & tea making machines, a refrigerator, and an oven are a nice touch.

The hotel was an incredible base for enjoying a truly beautiful area.

The location was perfect, right next to Sequoia Woods Golf Course and just a short distance from beautiful Sequoia trees and a stunning lake. The resort itself was wonderful, with spacious rooms and friendly staff. The facilities like the gym, pool, and hot tub were top-notch. I highly recommend this resort for a summer getaway to the Sierras.

The staff at Mountain Retreat Resort went above and beyond to ensure a comfortable stay. When I arrived, there was a power outage due to a snowstorm, but they quickly provided firewood, candles, and flashlights to make our room cozy. Despite the snowy conditions, they promptly plowed the parking area, allowing easy access to our front door. The front desk staff also showed great attentiveness by addressing our concerns with the electrical outlets and lighting. The resort itself is nestled in a beautiful location, with a small river nearby, making for a peaceful getaway. The two-bedroom apartment was fully stocked and had a lovely kitchen, perfect for preparing meals. The pool and game room provided plenty of entertainment for both kids and adults. Despite the minor drawbacks of the dated decor and allergy triggers, I highly recommend Mountain Retreat Resort for its exceptional service, picturesque surroundings, and enjoyable amenities. it was a wonderful stay and I look forward to returning in the future.

We had originally planned to visit Yosemite Park but had to change our plans due to the Ferguson fire. Luckily, we found Mountain Retreat Resort at the last minute and it turned out to be a fantastic choice. The wooden bungalow was spacious and well-equipped with a fully stocked kitchen. The staff was incredibly friendly and there were even free activities like bingo and ice cream nights. The location was perfect, just a short drive from Calaveras Big Trees. We also loved having access to the big outdoor pool and bar/eatery across the road. a great family resort that we would definitely recommend.

We had a fantastic stay at this resort. The townhouse was spacious and well-equipped, with a fully stocked and updated kitchen. We didn't need to buy any additional accessories as everything we needed was provided. The bathroom layout and the presence of a washer and dryer were convenient. The staff was helpful and organized, providing glowsticks during a power outage. The folded towel teddy bears on the beds were a lovely touch. The indoor pool and spa were enjoyable, and we appreciated the option to use the neighboring resort's outdoor pool and bar. The main building had a great pool table and a relaxing area.
