Hotel Moscow - 聖彼得堡

The only other drawback to the Moscow was the location, too far to walk to the Hermitage although there was plenty of public transportation on Nevsky Prospekt as well as the subway nearby.

Very good location, beautiful hotel and the staff members were really helpful needed.

The location is almost ideal for the center of the city and good views your room is at the front of the hotel.

You can have a large breakfast with plenty of choice, always a good start to the tourist day, and you are right next to a metro station, which is an immense convenience in a city with not enough such stations.

There is, however, a subway station right next to the hotel and you can also take one of the buses that pass the hotel.

The room was clean, the bathroom was great and the beds were comfortable with large pillows, but then we noticed the horrible view, the empty mini-bar that wasn't even cold, the broken air-conditioning and the missing of a pre-ordered extra-bed.

The rooms were clean and adequately furnished, the bed comfortable, and there was a good shower with plenty of hot water.

We explained them that 3 people can't possibly sleep in 2 beds and after a lot of yelling they finally checked the computer and realised we actually did have the extra-bed.

While waiting for the extra-bed we put the TV on.

The towels are replaced and the bed made, but the sheets are not changed and the shower is not cleaned on a daily basis.

The breakfast buffet is amazing approx 20 metres of every kind of food you desire, cereals, freshly made blinis, yoghurt, fish, cold meats and breads and many more wierd and wonderful options so something for everyone.

THe breakfast was decent, the food was okay and there was a large variety (even if it was very similar from day to day).

Decor was hotel modern, the beds were comfortable and at the restaurant the staff was quick to remove the dirty dishes.

I did not eat in the restaurant, but have few beers in the nice cafeteria near reception.

I like the athmosphere of hotel, the huge reception, small bars, shops, huge restaurant and even that small night club with "working girls".

Our tv remote stopped working and the front desk had a new one sent up in less than 20 minutes so we have no complaints with service.

No one of the staff has ever heard of customer service or English for that matter.

ANYHTHING done here, like eat, order room service, communicate with the staff.

As for unfriendly personnel and poor service - we didn't find either to be a problem.

The lobby is interesting in that at night the prostitutes take all the chairs near the elevator.

As a previous writer said, the small number of prostitutes who sit in a quiet corner of the lobby are no kind of affront to anyone.

There might have been a few "ladies of the night" in the hotel lobby, but apparently this is the situation in most St.

Near metro, the hotel lobby was bright and tidy, the rooms were clean.

The room was clean, food - well I ate at McDonalds next door.

The service was fine, the rooms were clean and the hot food was a bit greasy.

We had a renovated room, which was on the smaller side and fairly spartan, but very clean and in ok condition.

The hotel just got a rennovation and the rooms were very clean and nice.
